Yay! My request for Sins of a Solar Empire to be added to Neo has been granted! Anyone who's reading this should really check out the game, it's a space RTS/4X game being developed by Ironclad games and published by Stardock. Has a lot of cool things and really should be tried.

It's not going to be out for a bit, but I definitely agree. I'm looking forward to the game simply because it sounds so much more real than other games. Ships will actually have to travel through voids, their will be pirates, relics, stuff on planets, and from the sounds of it, incredibly customizable fleets and battle fights, as well as being able to see individual fighters in action.

Yeah, it really is going to set a new standard for space strat games. I just wish I could get my hands on a demo or something. I only really found out about it recently and I'm just drooling over it.

Well if this is becoming an intro thread then I should introduce myself. Hello, obviously I am PlayISDF! I got Sins of a Solar Empire approved to be on Neo (even though I don't think I did a great job on the info and finding good screenshots) and I am massively looking forward to this game.

I find it hard to believe no one is talking about this game lol. It's pretty good.

Your not the only one, I requested this forum be created months ago and there just hasn't been a lick of activity.

I only just recently got the game, as have a lot of other people I know, so it wasn't exactly an off-the-shelf world-wide hit, but a slowly growing one, imo! =P

The actual proper Sins forums are full of activity though. And yeah it is a bit. Hope you've been havin fun with it.

It's not even released in Europe, probably why lack of activity and certainly why I haven't been in here yet. I think this is the biggest release date gap ever for a game to have between the US and europe release...hell even Australia has it before europe and usually Australia are the last to get games

That I didn't know, also it is quite surprising that we got it before Europe, as you said usually we're the dead last to get everything depressingly. They've had more than enough time, that's for sure.

From what I heard it's possible to pick up the game online, isn't that option available to UK residents?

All pre-orders yes but not to actually have it before the 6th June, unless I buy it from a US online store and get it shipped, to which by then I may as well just wait

scratch that seems it won't be out until the 20th June now

Well I got this game and its pretty good. A tad slow though lol. Took me 3 hours to complete my first game. I lost quite a few games too learning what each unit does etc.

yeah I finally got the game too. Still on my first game since I went for the 10 player map wished I went for a smaller one now (currently on 10 hours play time as well)

5 players wiped out, 1 on verge of extinction, 1 and me the two super powers of the game and the other 2 just dwindling about
