It's not going to be out for a bit, but I definitely agree. I'm looking forward to the game simply because it sounds so much more real than other games. Ships will actually have to travel through voids, their will be pirates, relics, stuff on planets, and from the sounds of it, incredibly customizable fleets and battle fights, as well as being able to see individual fighters in action.

I only just recently got the game, as have a lot of other people I know, so it wasn't exactly an off-the-shelf world-wide hit, but a slowly growing one, imo! =P

From what I heard it's possible to pick up the game online, isn't that option available to UK residents?

My first game was a 10 player normal game. I expanded too fast, became too much of a threat and had to go up against an alliance of 4 races pretty much on my lonesome. That game did not end well.

Sins is a game which can be played from a more macromanaged level as well. I very rarely micromanage except in pivotal battles where I want to be there, ordering which weapons to use, when, and how.
