Alright, so I'm working on this little (hopefully will be big) game thing, that Praetorian and I have decided to name Risque (because it's Risk-esque). I'm modifying a large map of Europe so that we can incorporate it into gameplay. Once it's done, I'll create some rules, and we'll try to get this under way.

I'll go ahead and establish this rule. I think it's fair.

You're each going to start out in one point, and then expand. The countries on this game will be defined by your actions. They are not preset.

So it's possible for Germany to be split two or three ways.

OK then cool so even though I want Germany my actions and such could get me ending up as Britain or America?

Well, we're starting this on a smaller scale. The map of the game includes only Europe, Asia Minor, and Northern Africa.

You actions could end up with you being Northern Germany and Britain.

So it's a bit like Diplomacy then?

Very well, for surely you are entitled to it. First I will state that I have played neither Risk nor Diplomacy before, therefore, I cannot make the distinction between the two. Secondly, I'm currently devising the intricacies of the game. Regrettably, the modification of the map is a tedious task, and it warrants both patience and the elapse of time. An exact date, for which we can expect the game to be submitted in this forum, cannot yet be determined as there is no deadline. All I can say is that it shall be relatively soon. Whilst I am at it, you can feel free to suggest certain ideas to incorporate into this game, because as it is now, this game is only an idea.

I have never played Risk or Diplomacy, well I can wait for it to come, I'd imagine it'd be hard re-doing a map so take all the time required.

Okay, the map is finished now. It took a while. Anyway, if you have any questions or comments, tell.

You should make the grid more transparent and wider, and the borders easier to see. As it is now, it's just a topographical map of Europe obscured behind a really narrow grid.
