	Most cirriculum require a minimum number of labs to be taken in conjunction with some of your science courses. (General Chem I&II, Orgo I&II, Physics Lab, or Bio Lab just to name a few) That is most likely what they are talking about. 	It wants to know how many years worth of sciences with labs you have taken during high school. Chances are, each of your science courses had the equivalent lab as part of it.
