	Yeah, the US obviously has different levels of work than we do. 60% was close to average in Highschool. People rarely got over 80% in TEE subjects. ------------------- ....

	Yes. The grades in Australia correspond to different percentages than in the US. From memory: A - 75%+ B - 60%+ C - 50%+ F - 49%- Then there's moderation based on other students, which is probably where the 68% became an A. ------------------- ....

	I've never had such a bad grade before tbh. I often get quite low grades in maths and english, but usually all my parents do is tell me that I've tried my best, and help me work towards getting a higher grade. Anyhow, one quiz and two vocab quizzes (these are worth less points) later, I now have an 81% or a B-. 	We get failure notices sent home when we fail a test now. A month or two ago, my mom got one. I failed a novels quiz on The Prince and The Pauper. It was a 50. She started flipping out, even though it wouldn't effect me average. I laughed, because when I got my report card I found out that my reading grade went up a whole point from the previous marking period, despite my 50. And on Friday I got my progress report, and my mom looked at my math average so far. It was an 87. She flipped out. I had to explain that the progress report included only one math grade, and that it doesn't include homework and classwork like the report card does. She said "Then why is it called a progress report?!" 	^^ Ja. Sometimes an 'A' is when you're in the top 75%, a 'B' is when you're somewhere between 60%-75% of the class, etc. -------------------
