Braden's Review Bowl |
|
Seeing everyone creating threads like these with cool names I decided to make one too.
My most primitive review (the one for Bully) is not very elaborated. The others are fine. The best review IMO was the one for Hitman: Blood Money. I tried to convert the whole game into words. So what do you think of my reviews? ------------------- ![]()

Good job on keeping the flow of your reviews, as well as making sure that you got both fact and opinion in there. The last bit might sound odd, but more often than not a lot of reviews go through which are more essays on what they were rather than reviews on what they thought. You did a great job of keeping that balanced.
Also, I personally like reviews which don't have a lot of videos and pictures, so good work from me on that as well. =D ------------------- Can I run around and make veiled comments about others too?

I just read your Hitman: Blood Money review and it was very good. You elaborated on the gameplay, sights and sound enough, and as Mishtram had already stated, you have a good flow during your reviews. The video was oddly placed though, at the end of the review. Also, I'm curious of the replay value of it, as in is it still fun a second time through, is there a substantial amount of modes/missions that will keep you entertained for months, maybe even years? Other than that, it was a really good review, nice job!

I placed the trailer at the end as a finishing touch.
As for replay value, considering the number of methods by which you can complete each mission, it will keep you entertained for a few years. ------------------- ![]()

I think Chad was hinting that it should be in the review. =P
Anyway, looks like a good review. You've covered everything in there in good detail and got your opinion across well. The thing that irked me a little was the lack of an introduction for your comments. It doesn't have to be a big intro. It's just that I'm not for the whole "jump in at the deep end" kind of thing. -------------------

I read your Bully review and it's short, but pretty nice. But I wouldn't consider any of the weapons to be "cartoony". But I do agree that they should have had more exploration.
