Please read my post fully before responding. I don't want someone just writing back and saying "CALL ANIMAL CONTROL!"

I have a woman who lives with her son and her dog. She's in the army, and so leaves for work pretty early in the morning. She had just got into her car pool and left, when the skunk arrived on my lot. The kid couldn't call for Animal Control, so I thought I would get rid of it when she got home. But by the time she did, the skunk was gone, she couldn't call animal control, but the room factor outside was full red. She cleaned up all the mess but it didn't make a difference.

She can't get a promotion now, because every time she goes outside, she's in a bad mood.

IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN DO TO GET THE ROOM FACTOR BACK UP? Is there some air freshener she can buy, or does this go away after a set time? It's been 10 days since it happened.

Hmmm, maybe the outside is just bad as it is. Like no shrubs, trees flowers and such and such. Petz make puddles when they need to pee, they always pee at the sidewalk for some reason. Make sure you clear away any puddles, cockroaches, doggy/kitty poop (small and a bit hard to see on grass), water flowers and recycle the newspaper.

A good idea but unfortunately I don't think that is the case, as I have several rosebushes, poppies, trees etc, I even bought those hideous pink flamingoes. I also hired the maid and the gardener, because I thought if I couldn't find any mess then the maid would and the gardener would keep the plants up. But still the room outside is full red.

Any more ideas? Has this happened to anyone else?

Now this is sooo weird. Are you sure you are looking at the Room mood? Not the hygeine one? Lol, it goes red when Mr Skunk sprays you.

Ok... erm. I hadn't had that happen before. Are you sure it's AFTER he visited? Weird. If you are willing to lose the house then evict and bulldoze?

Definitely afterwards, and it's definitely the room score!

I will wait until it's been a few more days, then if there's no change she'll have to move and hope it doesn't happen again!

Am I really the only person who has had this problem? What normally happens if you don't catch the skunk in time?

Well, you don't NEED to catch it, it leaves after a while. It just walks around go there and there. I think when it sees flowers it goes away as it hates it (the fresh smell it brings).

Or try move objects cheat then delete it then save.

yes i have the same problem with one of my sim familys i hate that skunk.

hey i had prob before here a spoiler[spoiler=get rid][/spoiler]if u call animal control they will spray some kind of spray on ur flowers if u got any and my room went up bout 40%

if it happens again pause press ctrl+shift+c enter move object_on and delete the skunk it worked when the skunk comes over to my sims house:)

Try hiring a maid, she will clean up anything that disturbs ur sims. As for the room, maybe if it bothers u that much, move house!
