re: Duribility... ?

no. so far all i know is that there are two ways to restore weapons

1. repair it once you learn the skill that restores durability of items. but NOTE: you can't restore durability on items with 0 durability.
2. another alternative is to combine the weapon to make an item.. but keep in mind that the durability will suck for that item.

re: Duribility... ?

Yeah, it does suck. Once the Derablity goes to 0, the only way yo repair it is to have the item as a base Item and mix it with another item and usually it will have like 10 or so Durablity.

re: Duribility... ?

The trick is not to use your weapons unless they have a lot of durability left, or unless it's the only way you can win. Most battles can be won with punch, kick, and throw. So unless you're carrying around a bunch of extra weapons, unarmed combat is your best bet.

re: Duribility... ?

I think the game will last you 200 hours play and plus.
I mean if your going to really play the game, each characters story takes about... 60 hours.

I actually thought this game was somewhat Awesome. I just recently bought it again,...but my PS2 keeps getting the dreaded DRE... So I didn't even get to ry it, yet.

Durability?

Once you start completing more missions and gaining gobs of money, you can take all the materials and extra weapons you've collected to any blacksmith (or to Mythe's personal workshop if you're playing as him) and jack up the durability of your weapons.

Buy all the cheap stuff first. Then, unequip your current weapon and take it to the blacksmith. Use the weapon as a base, then smoosh on a lot of materials/weapons to not only increase its durability, but depending on what you're smooshing onto it, you can gain techniques ahead of time and/or increase its attack power.

I've noticed that for some reason, Oak tends to work real well sometimes for changing weapons into more powerful versions.

re: Duribility... ?

The easiest way to repair weapons is Quick-Fix, just keep watching their durability during battles and repair them up to 20+ when they have at least 6, thats what i do. So you do not always have to get materials to repair weapons and their weight and abilities do not always change. Foe example: Feather is the lightest material, Lead the heaviest. While forging any weapon together with Feather, the weapon loses weight and the abilities changes. You can view all abilities in the menu, the one on top is for light weapons and heaviness increases downwards.
Btw: unarmed combat sucks, the special abilities of melee attacks are just wea~k!
