Well, what ive heard from all the people who have played it is that they hate it with all their heart. I think it just because they were expecting it to be this totally awsome game and it wasnt what they expected. I still think it looks kewl but i still havent played it. My advise is Rent it first, dont just buy it.

i thought of buying this game too. i've read some reviews and they said the game is not good at all.

i dunno what you should do, i guess when this game becomes old and cheap you should try it out.

I bought the game. If your expecting a good game your going to be let down. If you want a challenging game with lots of things to do, and you don't mind the Monopoly like walking animation, this game might be for you.

This game is terrible, I will play it for a little while then I will want to kill myself. I highly recommend you dont buy it. If you dont believe me try renting it first. Save Your Money for something at least half way
descent.

Yo dude don't look at your slef in the mirror and say "i won't buy this game because all these kind people told me not to i'd rather spend it on making the school clown eating dirt" trust me it sucks i got it for 20 bucks thinking it was sorta like final fantasy but it seriously sucks only thing actually worth it is the FFX-2 preview but since it already came out like 3 months ago you might wanna buy something else with your 20 bucks

wow didn't know this game suck so much. i was at the mall yesterday looking for metal gear soild 2:substance. as i was looking for mgs2:substance(what a hard to find game)this game caught my attention(made by square cnix,appealing cover,catchy wording in back and image). so i decided to buy it. when i got home the first thing i did was check out this forum to see what people have been talking about, and boy did i read a lot of negetive stuff about this game(haven't even started playing). should of check out the review and any info about this game before i actually made a decision . like the old saying "don't judge something by it's cover" hehe... oh well only wasted 10 bucks on this game, but could of wasted $2.50 if i rented it first.

You can't say the game sucks. Ventus is Awesome, that guy is a Pimp. He was so lost and alone untill he found trace of his brothers Death. If you haven't seen the part were he could either chose the "Dragon Heart wine" or his "Package" that he was dilivering you might think he's a pimp too. Too bad he took the Package, true Carrier.

I thought the game was bad, though I enjoyed the jokes, Legends, and Graphics. The Artwork was somewhat Awesome. The battle system with team combos doesn't suck that much.

Though, I agree, it is really a waste of money.

Wow, what a horrible, horrible game. Maybe even the worst game for PS2 I've ever played. Such a let down from Squaresoft/Enix. RENT IT FIRST.

RENT IT FIRST. i bought it 4 50$ when it came out, a let down. i thought it was like ffX so without thinking i wasted the receit. the only bright side is the different characters.

The game only cost 15 dollars now... So I bought it again. Why not?

I bought it pre-owned and yet I still regret buying it. It's like the only game I have regretted buying. Although it did come with the FFX-2 Eternal Calm prologue, but still. It is absolutely the hardest game I have played. It's a text adventure RPG for god's sake!

I know, I played it already. I almost beat Ventus Story but my Little bro erased over my save. Then I sold it, so I just bought it again to try and beat Ventus Save.

if you can stand all the stupid parts of the game (like the fact you never get to move your character around) then it isnt such a terrible game
the battle animations are very nice and the so are some of the character designs

That was pretty stupin not being able to move your characters. I mean who wants an RPG game that resembles monopoly???

Anyways, I found the battle system to look pretty Awesome once your characters get to a level 3 weapon. The combos do look ok.
