I quiet like the fact that all the characters have been shortend. I would have like to see it go all the way through to the buu saga but to be honest the android saga was the best in my opinion. Im just liking the idea that the characters skill sets will vairy a lot and that you can ecome an expert on one, but totally crap with another due to their combos being so different ( i hope thats the case anyway). Also where forgetting the online feature. Once story mode gets boring, online will be such a big feature. This is when everyone will appreciate the skill required to play games like this and B3 over the tenkaichi series. -------------------

Budokai 3, in my mind is the best dbz that has ever come out. I just hope the new makes developements on it and makes the gameplay better. The in game cutscenes in B3 wer superb IMO especially attacks like the big bang, they really emphasised the power of the blast. Although BT3 was quiet good i will admit, it basically just tried to have the same elements as B3. What let BT3 down though was the controls and how they limited the variety in combos. Theres no point in playing a fighting game where every character has the same combo combination, but it just looks different. It wouldnt take you long to master the game. That was what was wrong with the Tenkachi series. But this new game is looking good as long as they add a kick ass combo system that differes on each character you play as. -------------------

What cutscenes? There where none in N3? And the Tenkaichi series had THOUSANDS of combos. And a lot of them differ from character to character especially Burter and Gogeta the two fastest characters they have the largest combos in the game you just have to be smart with what your doing in game. And really Tenkaichi actually tried more with there cutscenes than Budokai ever did "The game board" UGH what a crappy story mode B2 had ------------------- The Allmighty Super Adam 13! Well if you remember correctly, in B3 vegeta and goku had completly different moved sets so did gohan and other characters. In T3 every combo was the same, and by that i mean you pressed the same button regardles of which character you are. Now that really isnt a combo system. B3 also had great cut-scenes mainly for ultimate attacks which i think is good as it kept gameplay fast paced. Also it was in B3 when the teleport and counter teleport was introduced. The tenkachi series are good games for button bashers. It was basically who ever could press out the combo buttons fater won. B3 was IMO was clearly the superior game, and im not trying to push my opinion down your throat or anything im just trying to tell you why i like it, and why i think the majority of people prefer it to the tenkaichi series. attack system wise B3 was clearly the better game. -------------------

Ok guys, Im pretty sure Im not the first to notice this. But doesn't this game (from the trailers) Seem like an upgraded Shin budokai? I mean I was watching the clips and The fighting style and attacks are VERY similar. I'm Glad though. | |

Pretty much its a mix of shin budokai and b1 with way more flashy light beams and attacks. In other words its the best thing to ever happen to the dbz video gaming franchise. | |

That's a good thing for the diehard Vegeta fans. But IMO, Great Ape Vegeta doesn't make up for all the other awesome characters that we're not going to see because of the short story mode. Like Vegito, Gogeta, Ultimate Gohan and Super/Kid Buu for example. ------------------- ![]() | |

Doesn't the flying in this game seem slow to anyone? In shin budokai you could use that dash thing which I thought was very cool. I hope they add that to this game. | |
