This game can be unbelievably frustrating at times. It seems like there are a couple of things they just plain overlooked, that stick out like nothing else.

One thing, the game overlooks your drifts if you're not going fast enough. This seems valid, as a slow drift isn't a drift, but on some of the tighter courses, and the tighter turns in regular courses, it can be stupidly hard to get a good drift, because the game simply won't recognize it. It's frustrating when you check the replay and you see your car drifting smoothly, but you couldn't get points for it and lost your drift chain.

Another, other cars are too strong. In a game with such detailed physics, this is ridiculous. It makes overtaking a large field of cars harder than it should be because, if you hit any of them, you'll get flipped around, because their car acts like a wall. I've had situations where I've wasted several flashbacks, because if I take an inside line on a corner, an AI turns in on my line and spins me around, and if I take the outside line I usually turn in on them by accident, spinning me around. Some races have 12 cars, with you inevitably starting at the back of the pack, and though you can lap the track 10 seconds faster than them, it can still result in many restarts to be successful.

Lastly, though less important, the game seems to have a lot of sound bugs. I once had to restart because my NSX's engine sounded just plain weird, and there's some menu sound (the sound for points/money counting up) that will often repeat throughout the entire menu until I restart.

Another thing is the A.I keeps messing around with you! I was racing nicely then the A.I hit me in the back. We both were totaled :@

Also that the car steers differently in cockpit then on bumper!

Why is there only 1 Destruction Derby event in this game? There should be more as you unlock more stuff, but there isn't. This is a very fun part of the games that they really didn't develop very well .

I didn't like the destruction derby. The moment I saw it in the intro movie I was pumped, but it turned out crap. Your objective is to win, and it's just too hard. Destruction derbies aren't really about who wins, you're not supposed to be rewarded for driving cleanly. That's what separates a DESTRUCTION derby from every single other kind of racing.
