Im pretty bored nowadays so I thought Id buy Rainbow Six. However Ive only played the Splinter Cell Series by Tom Clancy and dont know wether I should get Vegas 2 or Vegas 1 to catch up on the story? In all honesty what do you think I should buy guys? -------------------  | |

You could always find a document with the story so far, so i say get 2 and just look up the story so far -------------------

yea jus get 2, most people wit one prolly upgraded to 2 anyway so online in RSV1 would/might be dead......then again, there are still some people playing the first... | |

The first wont die for a while. It's just like when Halo 3 came out, I thought Halo 2 would be dead and I was way wrong. People will probably still be playing the first one for a couple more months before it dies -------------------

It's not like the story is super amazing, but Rainbow Six Vegas 1 is a game NOT to be missed...either way, play thru Vegas 2 and get Vegas 1 if you want. But if you can wait, play thru Vegas 1 and then play Vegas 2, and things will make sense more. It doesn't really matter though, just depends if you wanna kno the story. | |

Don't worry about Vegas 1, the story is so simple that it won't matter if you miss out on the original. When have terrorism games ever had a deep story (besides Metal Gear Solid)? It's just the usual "terrorist organisation steals bomb, attempts to blow up city, special forces are sent to stop them".
