Alright, I'm sorry if this has been posted, I haven't seen any, but I've been having trouble killing others, it's not lag, ((I don't think)) but it's been taking be a few seconds to kill, I usually use the XM ((Shotgun)) or Famas ((Assault Rifle)). Any suggestions please would greatly be appreciated, oh... and I kinda run around when I shoot so could this have something to do with it?

Are those the best weapons that you have ? If you have anything stronger like the M468, G3, and Tactical 500, use those.

I have all those you named, so I should use those until I unlock the 500 tact? ((Sorry that I haven't unlocked))

Yeah. The M468 and G3 have two of the highest damage ratings for assault rifles. The M468 is good for CQC and the G3 is great at long-range.

Hmmm I just unlocked 500 tact last night, and I've tried both the "Recommended" Guns, both great ((got 14-3 with both ... [was playin with noobs]) so thanks everyone. =)

Also, if you fire with a shotgun, the bullets will, after a certain distance, do virtually no damage at all. Get up really close with the shotty. And as the other guy said, fire only a few bullets at a time with assault rifles.

Well, duh... to the shotty point. I had the same problem too, you just have to get used to the recoil on the guns, I'm still not great, I go negative a lot (but sometimes I'll do great). Also, go for headshots, even one bullet that lands there will get you a kill. And also, a little trick: when you are moving your crosshairs disappear. Hold down whatever button you have for the vision menu and you can use that as a crosshair.
