is this game even gonna have online play? im thinkin about buyin it. but i probably wont if it doesnt have online. so?

In GameInformer Magazine, it says 1 Player, 2 Player Co-op (via PSN, LIVE, or internet).
I would be surprised if this doesnt have full online play, as that is the highlight of all console shooters now. -------------------
