To be perfectly honest, I'm not that impressed. It sounds like Multiplayer is just a GDI blow-everything-up match, the graphics don't look amazing and I didn't get that buzz feeling that I get from watching other content from the C&C universe.

At this stage I'm somewhat glad they didn't use the prestigious Command and Conquer title; it doesn't look like it'll make the cut from what the devs are saying. Perhaps I've made some serious judgement errors here, and maybe it will live up to what C&C fans expect. But unlike C&C3, the first look doesn't appear enticing to me.

True, but it is, as you said, a first look. I'm sure it will get a lot better 'til the release. I can see the potential, and I'm getting Tiberium on release, no doubt.

I have a feeling it will live up to our expectations. Im not a graphic whore so i really dont care how it turns out as long as the gameplay is good ( Seems alright so far)
They MUST make multiplayer amazing tho, i had so much fun with renegade and if this can match it or even beat it ill be a very happy CnC fan.

Things can change a lot between preview footage and the actual game. I still remember seeing the first Halo 1 preview footage. I was like OMFG LOLOL ROFL LMAO. Then the game comes out and everyone was like HOLY SH**!

The 'one gun, different modes' has come from previous games, like Republic Commando, (pretty good game by the way), and they'll probably let you pick up other weapons like they did in Republic Commando, in fact, are you sure they aren't made by the same people? They have some similar features. Even down to the squad-based multi-player I've heard about, (though Tiberium gets AI squad-mates, Republic Commando didn't).
