okay now heres the problem im haveing: im fighting Gabriel and his Limiter is one, Angel like chick in the background right? well how in the BEEB does his Stone Rain spell deal 9'999 damage to ALL of my characters?

this is with the limiter ON!!! i have havent don the PA involving Philia, so why is he kicking my arse!?!?

im well over LVL 80 and im using Renna, Cluade, Dias and Celine.

i can damage him no problem, but i cant survive this deadly attack! if he hits that hard with the limiter, i REALLY dont want to fight him with out it!

any help would be appriciated.

OK, before I answer this question, who is Gabriel? And what is a limiter?
OK, I'll just answer your question, Have the Private Action in Kurik occur, where that girl is warning everybody about the great storm, Then go to the final save point in Phynal, leave Phynal, and have the Private Action in Centropolis occur, talk to the girl (that warned everybody in Kurik) in the lobby of the main building, This will remove Gabriel's limiter, allowing him to become more powerful. Or so I heard. Before you do this, save in a different file, just to be safe.

Gabriel = final boss. Limiter = weakens final boss.

you see, with his limiter, he has 500'000 HP and isn't as deadly, (yeah right, like 9999 to all in the form of Stone Rain isn't deadly) but with the limiter his HP triples (1'500'000HP) and his attacks become more fierce (again, more fierce than 9999 to all? WTF?)

i can do tons of damage, but then he uses time of truth and summons the angle looking chick, then that's it, I'm out like a light. how do they expect you to kill him when he does that seemingly un-blockable amount of damage?

I dunno. Wait, what's your characters HP? What is Gabriel's HP? To find out his HP, use spectacles, which you already probably know.

Claude and Dias should be more than enough to combo him to death. You have Mirror Slice for Claude and Deadly Illusion for Dias, right?

I would drop Celine for another fighter, especially Ashton or Opera. If you do keep her, use things like Energy Arrow and cast Angel Feather on your fighters rather than slower spells like Explode.

What are your gear and skills like?

Lvl up more. Lvls go to 255.
Equip something that halves/weakens/absorbs whatever spell element you keep getting killed by.

BTW: I released his limiter. Im lvl 156 and he is still kicking my butt.
