Is it possible to get a vhs drive for a pc.
I'm building an htpc for my mum and she wants a vhs drive.

re: vhs tapes

I have never seen or heard of a VHS drive for a computer. Even then, it would have to be pretty big to hold the whole tape, and have to fit in side ways. Just attach a VCR to the TV, or convert the VHS tapes to DVD.

re: vhs tapes

It's simply not possible. The technology is so outdated that a standard home built computer won't be able to run with it. You're better off converting the VHS to DVDs.

re: vhs tapes

What you can do is use a capture card and connect if from your VCR. That's really the only way to do it.
