I think this is where I should post his although it is not about gaming, if it is wrong could the mod please redirect me. I bought a Satellite pro a200 with a s.4ghz processor radeon hd2600 card 2gig or ram and a HD player. I bought it relly for school but I decided to try out the player so I bought leathel weapon for 7 dollars now blue ray has won. I tried to play it but it read it as a blank dvd? When i tried it on my hd player it said it was the wrong disk type? my drive is a Toshiba dvdw/hd ts-L802A ATA device. I couldnt find out any info on toshiba home and i realise that you can probably only help if you have the same aptop as I do but i would like to try out my player and as I had problems tobegin with i want to make sure my computer is Ok.

I'm having a hard time understanding your problem, but you said you bought a Blu-Ray movie, and your trying to play it on your HD-DVD player on your laptop? HD-DVD and Blu-Ray are two different formats that are not compatible with each other. For example, what you are trying to do is play a DVD on a CD player; it just wont work. The only way you can play a Blu-Ray movie is on a Blu-Ray player; the same goes for an HD-DVD disk, it can only be played on an HD-DVD drive, which is what your laptop has.

No sorry if i wrote it bad. I bought an A200 pc with an inbuilt HD player and I tried to play a High Deffinition movie on it. It did not read the movie so I downloaded some upgrades and it still didnt read the movie

Yeah you've got a HD-DVD player and you can't play Blu-Ray DVD's on it, unless I misread.

Yeah, you can not play a Blu-Ray movie on an HD-DVD player, they are two completely different formats. I can see where you can get confused, since they are both high-definition formats, but they are not compatible with each other.
