They are the differences between pixel resolutions vertically and the refresh rate. 720 is 720 pixels high roughly. 1080 is of course 1080 pixels high. The i is for interlaced and the p for progressive. Interlaced refreshs every other line so all the odds then all the evens. 1080 is a higher resolution than 720 (720 has less pixels compared to 1080). The i and p mean interlaced and progressive, which is how the screen refreshes. Progressive is better then interlaced. ------------------- quote Avalith | |
