Not really. I felt like Hammond was controlling Isaac to much. I liked his inclusion in the story though.

Everyone controls Isaac in the story since he apparently has no mind of his own.

It really did feel like Hammond and Kendra were completely useless "assistants" who basically just told you to do everything while they sat back and did nothing. I would say it was a little sad when Hammond died though. Even more sad is

I guess Blind Sniper is right. He was manipulated by alot of the characters in the game. He never made a choice of his own.

I was gutted when hammond died, what a waste of a really good character, I did how ever think that his death would be more epic than it was, after all he only got killed by a brute, nothing breath taking there at all, his death was just nasty but nothing that made me get really upset.

Well Hammond was the commander and Isaac was under his command so it all worked out pretty close to how real life army and engineers would do in this situation.
Grunts do the work. I was a little pissed i was hoping for a bit of tag team action against a couple of hundred deadites??? then some get out of here sacrificial moments followed by that very anoying nooooooo hammond when the doors closes. He owed that much. Waste of a good charactor. Oh and we dont actually know if he just sat on his ass . he could of done some other things we dont know about to pull his own weight

eh.. both Kendra and Hammond pulled a lot of weight finding out where things where, hacking door and computers etc. Without them Isaac would have gotten like nowhere. And he was the engineer, the one with the knowledge to fix broken things so I find the story to make perfect sense in this regard. There are other things with this story that's a little harder to make sense of...
And in this kind of games walking around alone is way more creepy than than having someone with you even if its a computer run NPC.

I was also hoping for some sort of epic tag team battle against before Hammond died, but oh well. I really didn't expect that brute to rush in all of the sudden like that, and it did take me by surprise how it happened.

I was lil' sad when Hammond died, but I was getting pretty annoyed with him and Kendra. I love Dead Spaces story but am I the only one who though the objectives could've done with a little more imagination? It's pretty much, fix this, fix that, kill that. I think they could've added a little more variety.
