	You said that it is a GTA clone because it is a sandbox game... And if Prototype is good it will make it a GTA clone... It will not make it a GTA clone, it is not a GTA clone, has this word been used so much that it has lost all meaning already? GTA clone was originally used to describe the games the were trying to copy GTA's formula, Saints Row, Driver etc... These new sandbox games are not GTA clones they are part of the Sandbox sub genre that can coexist within genre's. Alone in the Dark 5 = Sandbox Horror Alan Wake = Sandbox Thriller Mercenaries 2 = Sandbox Action Red Faction 3 = Sandbox Sci-Fi Sandbox is a genre it is not something GTA invented and it has been around since the early 80's in some capacity, it is it's own genre and just because a game is sandbox orientated doesn't make it a clone of GTA. ------------------- «Doom Destroyer. 	That game isn't just shooting and driving vehicles though, it's more of a CrackDown clone since it has 'super powers' in it, if it was a gangland shooter game then I would call it a GTA clone. ------------------- Gamertag: iBeZi

	the game looks nice but i dont want it. something about being shot at by an army and being blown up by a tank and still not dying isnt my cup of tea, id rather die from three shots to the stomach in a game, i really would. then again i dont know anythin about the game so its probably in the storyline, but still, no for me

The thread title is calling the game a GTA clone, therefore the discussion about whether or not it is, quite honestly, is on topic. By the way, NO WAY in hell is this a GTA clone. It isn't even close to GTA. GTA clones include games like Mafia, True Crime, The Getaway, Driver games and Saint's Row. Dude, not every sandbox game is a GTA clone. This game is no more a GTA clone than Mario Sunshine is a GTA clone. Yet, by your logic, Mario Sunshie is a GTA clone. Why? Because it is 100% completely free roam. You can go anywhere in the game, travel to other worlds and go anywhere in them. You aren't restricted from getting anywhere by artificial walls, like you are in games like Ratchet & Clank. So being a free roam game, I guess Mario Sunshine is a GTA Clone. Hahahaha thanks for the Sandbox tutorial. ------------------- It's official. I have truly become a babysitter on Neo. 	_{May i direct you all to the time i made this thread, thats right in January. When this forum was on its first two pages of life. I found another video of Prototype, which is why i took this out of the grave and bumped it. If you guys seriously care enough about the title when we knew shit about the game than i will change it, but i would thought you guys would understand the time difference. EDIT: Its done and i modified my post. So now please i want to discuss the video not the GTA clone.
