No patch can correct a hardware issue like the RRoD. MS has been making better 360's with less of a predilection for this problem, and in addition they have extended the warranty to three years to cover any possible RRoD issues.

Nope. Neither of my consoles have ever had a problem. In fact, I know a lot of people with the 360 and only one had the RRoD, and MS replaced his console within a week, out of warranty.

I have a PS3 (finally) Just dropped $300 bucks on accessories this weekend. Good thing my wife was standing right next to me when I did it, otherwise she might have killed me.

Amazing, I'd just like to point out, this being a widely more popular PS3 game, there are 28 PS3 owners and 25 360 owners anyway. Just goes to show, Chiro's little fanboys will follow him anywhere.
