XD, like the battle damage there doing to Frick's Pokemon seems to be like set so it always does a certain amount of damage. In Pokemon games it has a percentage on how much an attack will do against X amount of HP and Y amount of defence/Special Defence.

REMATCH FRICK VS JASMINE SAME TEAMS NEW OUTCOME
"Magnemite show him how stupid is he by using a water type against you with THUNDER!" shouted Jasmine
"sheild yourself with protect Squirtle"
A green sheild came up over Squirtle and the thunder slammed against it, but couldn't penetrate the sheild, leaving Squirtle scratchless
"Now Squirtle charge towards Magnemite then quickly Withdraw"
Squirtle did just that, resulting in him slamming into Magnemite in his shell, so he got no damage from that
"Good Squirtle, now use..." Frick began to say
"Magnemite sonicboom" interrupted Jasmine
Frick was caught off gaurd and Squirtle was hit quickle causing it to flip over and land on it's belly
"Now hit the turtle while it's down with a full powered THUNDER!"
"Squirtle save yourself with another protect"
again a green sheild came over Squirtle and the thunderbolt did nothing. Jasmine was getting pissed, Squirtle still was lying on it's stomach
"Squirtle just take your time getting up"
"Ha, Magnemite show him up with another THUNDER!"
"tsk tsk, the result will be the same as the last two times, protect!"
Magnemite shot a bolt at Squirtle and the green sheild began to show but quickly went away causing Squirtle to be hit and Magnemite didn't let up on the the thunder, finally Magnemite stopped, and Squirtle had fainted
"How is that possible!"
"Protect fails in succession someitimes, you still have a lot of learning to do boy"
"well i learned one thing, no steel can resist a little fire, go Magby"
Magnemite had taken some damage from Squirtle but not very much, Magby shot an ember from it's mouth, hitting Magnemite and catching Jasmine off gaurd since Frick didn't even command Magby
"urgh well that doesn't matter magnemite fire back with sonicboom"
"Fire Punch!"
Magby charged towards Magnemite with a blazing fist, the fist broke right through the sonicboom and hit Magnemite, fainting it
"hmm so this is close than i thought oh well go Skarmory"
OON: according to Wikipedia Jasmine has Skarmory in PS2 so ya, id i do any better in randoming the damage amounts CG

DECIDING MATCH AND NEW SIGHTS
"Hmm, another steel type, hit him up with another firepunch"
"Push him back with Whirlwind"
Skarmory began to flap it's wings, not letting Magby get close to ot, the force of the wind made Magby fall on it's back
"Now fly up use bravebird Skamory"
Skarmory flapped it's winged and gained altitude, then dove at Magby at highspeeds
"Magby smokescreen right in Skarmory's eyes"
Magby shot a pile of smoke from it's mouth, hitting Skarmory in the eyes, blinding it and causing it to change it's course and smash into the ground
"Magby here's our chance, get up and use ember"
A small flame bullet came from Magby's mouth and it Skarmory the pain caused it to quickly jump up
"Skarmory, quickly get to the air so you can recover"
"Hit Skarmory with a funch punch before it gets to far up"
Magby jumped up and attempted to strike Skarmory with a flaming fist but Skarmory flew out of it's reached, causing Magby to miss and bellyflop on the ground
"Good Skarmory, just stay up in the air until you catch your breath"
Skarmory hovered in the air for a bit and while it hovered Magby got up
"We will not lose this, Magby let's try something new rapid fire ember!"
Magby shot little fire streams from it's mouth back and forth rapidly, like a machine gun but slower, this was a very exhausting task, but blasted Skarmory out of the sky and it smashed against the ground, fainted, Magby was barely standing up now, but the match was over, Frick took his badge, thanked Jasmine and left
He went to the pokemon center and healed his hurt pokemon then he began towards the 7th gym, he had to go past the Miltank farm, it was a long walk, he began to hear roars, it was dark out so no one else was around, he wondered what could be roaring at this time of night

OOC: best part about being the only writer, you control everything with the legendaries, ok i know this section is pretty predictable but it's a filler and it'll get better

Frick kept walking, the roaring kept going, he tried to think what it might be as he walked towards the sounds, maybe a wild houndour he thought, then for a second a another through crossed his mind. "maybe it's one of the legendary dogs" but another second later that thought was out of his mind. Gligar was on his shoulder, his other pokemon were in their balls on his belt, he also has one empty pokeball on his belt. He kept walking foward, the noise got louder, and he began t notice that it didn't sound like just one roar but three roars. He began to run, the thought of the three dogs got back into his head, soon think trees were in his path, things got hard to see

It's good. Very suspenseful. I need more.

Frick started to weave between the trees, picking up his pace, he began to go into fight or flight, faster fast his heart pounded, he speed quickened, he was sweating now, then finally he stopped moving, there were no more trees in his path, just an open field, and in that field were the three legendary dogs. They didn't notice Frick, they just kept looking and each other and roaring, the roaring seemed like how they were communicating with each other. They looked so marvelous to Frick, the shock passed and he slowly inched towards the dogs, he tried to keep quiet but his breathing was too loud and the dogs all looked at him. He got scared but kept moving towards them, then the dogs looked at each other and bolted off. They all ran together and Frick ran after them, they were fast but with all the adrenalin in is system he was able to keep up. Suicine really wanted to get away so it dashed off to the right, Frick decided to keep following the other two dogs, he let Suicine go. The trees thickened again as they ran through the forest. The two dogs were roaring as they ran and then drifted off in opposite directions
