This is the official sequel to Monster of Humankind. I'll try to make this one better than the last one; no guarantees!

Perhaps now's the time to tell you the number of stories that will be in this series. There will be 5 seperate stories, each longer (hopefully) than the last.

With that in mind, enjoy the first chapter.

Chapter 1 - Aboard the S.S. Libra

The sandstorm may have been too much for us. Agate Village was quite a distance away, and it was getting more vicious by the second.
"If we don't find shelter soon, we'll die out here!"
"Luke! Tell me you've got a plan?!"
"Sort of!"
"...What do you mean sort of?!"
"If it's still here, we can make it, but I think it's been moved..."
"You tell us this now?!"
"There was an army of Snagems back there!"

I looked a little further into the distance. Although it was faint behind the sand rushing into my goggles, my guess was correct. The ship was still stranded out here.
"There! Speed up to that ship!"
We all sped up and, before the sand could do its worst to us, we boarded the stranded ship.

"What is this place?"
"...It's still here?"
"You remember this, huh, Zach? The first mission we carried out?"
"How can I forget? I was on the ship..."
"What're you talking about?"
"This is the S.S. Libra. It was once a luxury cruiser, but on its maiden, Cipher ordered XD001 to lift it up and abandon it in the desert."
"...Why?"
"The pokemon on the ship."
Silence.

We went further into the ship. How could this still be here? It's been 15 years since it was brought out here...and it's still spotless.
"Correct me if I'm wrong...we're not the only ones here, are we?"
I shook my head. Jorge nodded as we continued walking.

Then, from out of nowhere, a gun poked into Zach's back.
"How dare you try to rob me again?"
"Damn..."
We turned around putting our hands up.
"Oh! You're not those thieves! Hi there!"

Jazz hands.
"What're you doing here, sir?"
"I live here!"
"Heh. So it was true."
"Yep...whatever you mean by that."
"Well, we've just come for shelter until the sandstorm clears."
"Ohh, on an adventure, are we? Where're you off to?"
"Agate Village."
"Hohoho! Nice place...would you like something to eat while you wait?"

Zach, Jorge and Emma immediately said "YES!", so we went up the stairs into the kitchen. After he gave us some food (chips and curry before you ask), they were just talking. After a while I stood up.
"I'm going to tour."
"Ok, but be careful you don't get lost!"

I left the room and started walking around. No particular route; just walking. I didn't really care where I was lead.

What was I going to do? Right about now, the fight against Snagem seemed hopeless without more shadow pokemon. Hell, not even Darkrai's powerful enough...and without their information, I couldn't even find Team Harmony's base.

And upon thinking that, my mission was clear. I had to find Team Harmony's base, snag all their pokemon and then destroy Snagem. That was easier said than done, of course...but when it comes to me, everything's achievable.

I stopped in my tracks at the sight of a red leather trench coat and a master ball beside it. The trench coat looked familiar to me...I bent down and looked at the label. It belonged to my father; the one he never used to wear, but always hung up in his cupboard. I thought, better colour than brown, isn't it?

Now my colour is definitely red. Red hair, red eyes, red coat...

Now the big question...what's in that master ball? Of course I had to check it out, otherwise it would probably get stolen by trespassers. So, I picked the master ball up. Just in case, I had an ultra ball (containing Umbreon) at the ready. I threw the master ball at the ground, and out came...

A shadow at first. Behind the shadow came a beast that looked like a dragon, with 4 grey legs, what looked to be gold claws surrounding its neck, and ghostly wings. It was Giratina.

It looked angry and about prepared to attack me, yet I hesitated to summon Umbreon. Giratina looked at me, and growled slightly, as if it familiarised me as its enemy. Then it leapt back as if to charge at me, but instead of charging at me, it disappeared. Still I did nothing, until about 20 seconds later, when I was sure it wasn't going to come back. I ran back to the kitchen, as I started to hear a faint rumbling, and slight shaking beneath my feet.

I entered the kitchen.
"What's going on, Luke?"

Now the rumbling was louder, and the shaking much more fierce.
"Maybe I should tell you later..."
"Come on! Let's get out of here!"

I just finished Monster of Humankind and the first chapter to this story. I have to say, both are awesome! Great start, and I can't wait for the next update

I don't have exams for another 5 or 6 weeks. Awesome story, same as your last one!

Chapter 2 - Meet the parents

We ran out of the ship, that turned out to be sinking into the sands it lay upon.
"My house!!!" The old man fell to his knees. There was a tear in his eye. "No!!!"

He broke down in tears at the sight of his home for 15 years, steadily sinking into a deep pit of sand. As it finally sunk, we could see that the sand it sunk in wasn't just sand. It was black sand.
"What...is...THAT..."
A giant shadow appeared among the sand. Giratina once again. It roared and then disappeared.
"That's Giratina..."
"That's what sunk my house?!"
I nodded and walked to my bike.
"Agate is a village for retirement. You'll find a home there."
"I don't want a new home! I want my ship back!"
"Well that's too damn bad, old man!"
He shut up immediately. Emma climbed on the back of my bike, as Zach and Jorge got on their respective bikes. The old man climbed on the back of Jorge's bike.

We rode off towards Agate Village. No sandstorm.
"Nice coat..."
"My dad's."
"Your dad's? Who is your dad?"

I fell silent. Her eyes shot open as she realised what she said could be wrong.
"I...I'm sorry..."
"Forget about it."
She was quiet for the rest of the journey. We eventually stopped in front of Agate Village, where plant life was evergrowing; even the sand in front of the village was starting to turn green.

Weird...

The old man left us without a word. He just went to the pokemon center to check for vacancies. Good, I say...slowing us down like that.
"So, where do you live?"
"We live at the top of the village! Come on, I'll show you!"
I froze. That's where the legendary pokemon trainer Eagun used to live. How could this be? What's going on?

Regardless of my motionlessness (bleh), she ran off. We had no choice to but to run after her.
"Did you know about this?"
"No."
"Something's up here."

Eventually we found Emma at the front door of her house. It was exactly as we thought. It was Eagun's house. Emma opened the door.
"Mom! Dad!"

My eyes shot open as they looked at Emma and stood up to walk over. They hugged her.
"You scared us! Don't ever do that again!"
"I was lucky Luke and his friends were there to save me!"

Her father looked up at me. He frowned slightly as if I were familiar.
"You're Luke?"
I nodded. I was sure of it.
"You're Wes, aren't you?"

Jorge and Zach looked at me as if to say "No! Shut up!". However, he nodded and smirked.
"You were the one..."
He nodded once more.

"Ok, what the hell is going on?"
"Wes and Rui...the ones who foiled Cipher's plans the first time round."
"And Team Snagem's."

He looked at my Snagem jacket and back at my face.
"Dad, if you sit down we can talk about all this..."
"I agree. I believe we're not the only ones confused."

So after a long talk over a drink, we came to the conlusion of our discussion about Team Snagem.
"Well, it looks like you're in a bit of trouble."
"My plan is to raid the Team Harmony base and bring back everything with me."
"I would help you but...I'm an old man too."
"We don't even know where it is, though."
"You didn't think about that, did you?"
"Actually, I did."

I looked at Wes for a while. He started smirking and stood up.
"I'll go get the map."

After a venture upstairs, Wes brought down a map with Team Harmony's headquarters on it.
"How'd you find them?"
"What do you think I'd been doing for 10 years? Babysitting?"
"That's not fair!"
"Calm down Emma."
"I just wish there was something else I could do for you..."
"Well, if you'd be willing to, I need an extra storage system. This raid will be huge."
"Hahaha...I see."

Wes walked over to the window, staring out of it in awe. Wow...he really was getting old.
"This is a beautiful place, don't you agree? I don't want these lands torn apart by a stupid war either, you know. The sands outside the village have long been terrain of war, and my fears of a war errupting upon the cities of Orre are almost coming true."

Wes turned around and looked at me once more.
"I will give you my storage system if you prove to me you are worthy."
I held out the ultra balls and master ball before him.
"Take these 3 balls. You'll KNOW I'm worthy."
"I saw that on TV. I'm impressed...but there's just one more trio I've been looking into."
"...What're you saying, exactly?"

Wes walked over to his bookshelf.
"The creation of the universe."

Now folks, thanks to my genius, I've put myself in a VERY awkward writing position, and this update may take a while. This is actually really weird, because I'm in an awkward position in all of my stories. Yep, writer's block.

So...yeah.

This is my biggest case of writer's block EVER. Seriously. I'm going to have to resort to the writing style of the anime (which, by the way, is cheesy and doesn't make that much sense).
