"What happened? The last thing I remember is my Aura leaving my body... In my head there's been nothing... For some reason I feel a Raichu somewhere is in great danger. Does that mean anything?" He stopped, as he realized Adama wasn't trying to kill him. "Adama? Are you alright?"
"Yeah." She smiled at him. He smiled back. She seemed different... And he started feeling something inside him... Something he hadn't felt in a long time... He'd been too concentrated in protecting the world from her, he'd never really thought of her as what she was... an attractive young woman... They stood there, looking at each other for about a woman. He smiled at her again, then broke their gaze.

I'm sat outside writing this, it's amazing how nature can inspire you.

That empty hole inside of her was suddenly filled by something she couldn't name, she could only describe it as feeling whole. The awkward silence between them puzzled her as she watched him eying her cautiously. Lux suddenly stepped forward; "I thank you for helping me bring my Master's aura back."
She widened her smile, watching as her Lucario scowled behind. "Even though you were the one to take it..." He coughed angrily, causing her smile to falter slightly. "But you brought it back, that's all that matters." The boy smiled, turning around to Lux. "Take her back to our place. I'll come back with food."
She listened in, her stomach clenched; "What do you mean? Where are you taking me?" She panicked, Izuri hopped to her side. "They're not taking you anywhere. Let's go." He growled, pulling on her arm.
"No wait. I just meant a place to stay." He spoke calmly to her, ignoring Izuri's warnings. "I'll be back with food. I promise you're safe."
She bit her lip gently, flinching when Izuri's grip tightened. Lux held out his palm, expecting her to take it. She raised her spare hand up to her face, hesitating, then taking it. Izuri immediately let go, "I'm coming to protect you, I do not trust this boy."
"Your instincts are paranoid, I assure you." Xenophates snapped, they both looked eyes angrily. Izuri took his eye line away over to Adama, following where she was walking, leaving Xenophates alone.

She stared at the crack in the floor through the floor, flashbacks of being chased flooded her mind until she eventually saw someone lay on the floor. She ran over to see who he was and if he was alright. He was still breathing heavily, and moved slightly. "Xenophates? Have you returned?" He wheezed. She called for Izuri to come, while she spoke softly to the frail man before her; "I'm a friend, are you okay, what happened?"
He shook his head, "I do not have long, it's coming." Lux walked over; "Sir Nestor, are you alright?"
"Who is this girl, Lux? Where is Xenophates? Does he have his aura?"
"Yes sir, he is fine, this is Adama. Her body has triumphed over her Aura."
"She has no aura." Izuri added.
"Another Lucario I hear, the powerful one?" The old man asked, the pokemon replied with a sharp "yes." Nestor nodded, before touching Adama's cheek, scrolling up to her forehead. "Your skin is forever young, but your mind is too mature for you to control."
"What does that mean?" Izuri snapped, "She is smarter than Xenophates."
"I do not deny that. I fear for her." He sighed, placing his hand to his chest weakly. "Lux. I want you to do something for me."
Lux nodded; "Anything sir." As he took Nestor's other hand which was held out.
"Take my Aura out."
She watched Lux fall into a state of shock; "But sir, you are too weak with it, it will kill you."
"It's about time I died anyway. Do it, the girl will need it."
Adama protested; "Sir I am fine without one. I don't wish to turn back to the way I was..."
Nestor grabbed her harshly; "You listen to my words, Aura always defeats the body's will. Your body may choose to be good, but you given a powerful aura that chose to be evil. I was blessed wit a wise Aura, although it isn't powerful, you can harness it with your experience. I fear not even..."
"Even what?" Izuri shouted, obviously intrigued by the wisdom.
Lux pushed his hand towards Nestor, and Izuri howled angrily; "Wait! Even what?"
The string exiting his body was thin, it curled as Lux collected it. "Love cannot overcome an Aura's wi-" Nestor gasped before he became a dead weight in Adama's arms. She placed him down gently, and jumped as someone entered.
"What happened?"

Xenocrates saw Nestor's body limp on the floor. He looked at Adama, then Lux until resting his gaze on Izuri.
"Was it him?" He said with a cold gaze, and a voice to match. Metallic and provocative.
"No!" Adama put down his idea instantly. She looked at Izuri, who was obviously insulted.
"So what happened?" He aimed this question at Lux. He didn't yet fully trust Adama, albeit his feelings.
'He asked Adama to take his aura.'
"WHAT!?" He rushed to Nestor's side. Tears dropped onto his cold face. He thrust his palms onto his chest, and gold light imbued into him.
"Xenocrates. Don't." Adama had an intelligent air to her voice now. "He wanted to die." Another tear dropped on Nestor. He took off his cloak. He wouldn't need it. He reached into a sort of pocket... There was a pendant. Bright blue, with little streaks of Gold and Silver. He took it, fastening the clasp round his neck, and folding the cloak. Adama was watching him.
"He was the closest thing I had to a father." He looked up at her, eyes reddened. "If you don't mind, I'm going back home... I'll see you some other time." He stood up and left, Lux following close behind.

She bit her lip anxiously, watching as he walked out of the cave. She hesitated, but Izuri stopped her; "That was valuable Miss Adama, we must go to retrieve your Aura. This small Aura can be easily added to your power."
She shook her head; "I don't want my aura back." She protested, "and I don't want this one either."
Izuri snapped at her harshly; "that man died to give you that, I suggest you use it." He came inches to her face, almost bullying her into taking it; "I do not like this new you. You will get your aura back if it kills me." She cowered underneath him, shaking and unable to keep eye contact with him. He growled, whipping the aura from her hands and pushing it into her face. He squeezed her nose, causing her to open her mouth. He pressed it into her throat, causing her to choke on aura as it scratched down her neck like needles. "I'm sorry Miss. I really am, you'll forgive me someday..."
The pain stopped and he let go of her head, she looked down as the aura took effect. "I forgive you, Izuri. For you will see your actions someday and regret them."
She flung him off with a psychic, he lay unconscious by the wall as she picked up Nestor's cloak which was folded beside him. She placed it around her neck, pulling it's hood over her head and stepping into the storm which had blown over the early morning sun. She closed her eyes, getting used to the new aura, she searched for Xenophates as she usually did, but for a complete opposite reason. She knocked on a small wood hut, a normal home for the town.
She looked at him through tear stained eyes, he was looking back with the same look across his face.
"Can I come in?" She pleaded, as he stepped to one side. She smiled weakly, and stepped in.

Adama looked around in concealed astonishment at Xenocrates' hut.
"It's a dump. I never tidy it, or clean it. I haven't improved it. It's just somewhere to eat and sleep." And that's what it was. Nothing much else... He walked over to her and took the cloak. He draped it round what seemed to be a chair. Even though his eyes were red, he didn't seem sad at all. Xenocrates picked up on this.
"I've learnt to deal with loss. There's the initial inevitable grief, but I can usually handle things after around half an hour. Although that initial prospect of loss is worse when" He gestured round the small hut, "you don't have much. So where's Izuri?"
"Back at the cave."
"So what have you been sad about?" He asked her. She was slightly astonished. It was like he had simply renewed completely "Want something to drink?" She nodded, then told him about what had happened with Izuri. Xenocrates stepped back a bit, "So, why aren't you back to your old self?"
"Nestor's aura. It must be assisting the body." He passed her a steaming cup of a brown liquid. She sipped it and was shocked, "What is this?"
"Aura stimulant."
"What!?"
"Aura stimulant, it uses essences that run through the body, activating certain brain patterns and the Aurose."
"The Aurose?"
"It's part of the brain that is shared only by Lucario, Riolu and us people with aura."
"Right." She sipped it a few more times. Then looked up at Xenocrates. He hadn't smiled since she came in... Coping with loss she guessed.

Xenocrates had led her to a room which seemed unloved and unused. It contained a bed, a table with many small pieces of equipment and a chest. She thanked him and settled onto the bed, resting her tired body. The time crept by as she wished to sleep, but unable as thoughts provoked her to cry. She bolted upright suddenly, listing to the howling winds outside. She felt it coming, she wriggled out of the bedding as an explosion occured on the wall that was by it. Another one feircly pushed through as she deflected it with psychic. Xenocrates opened the door in a sudden rush to find her pushing back what used to be her friend. He rapidly pushed him off with an aura sphere, but unable to stop him grabbing hold of Adama. With his spare hand, he pressed his palm into the air. It crashed the roof which enabled a getaway, knowing Xenocrates couldn't attack without hurting Adama in the process. Lux ran in, jumping up the hole in pursuit, getting ready to attack.

Lux couldn't use the attack he'd been prepared to use against Izuri, as it would hurt Adama as well. She was screaming at her partner, but he ignored her. Lux quickly activated his double team, creating a copy of himself in front of the escaping Lucario. It was instantly dismissed with a Force Palm. Suddenly, it activated Extremespeed, allowing it to speed off. Lux also used Extremespeed, but Izuri had made too much of a headway. He landed in the town. It was an alleyway. There was a large manhole cover in the middle. What looked like some sort of Black Aura seemed to be seeping out of the manhole. He quickly moved it out of the way with his aura, there was nothing down there. It was more concrete under the cover. He looked at the strange circle. It was seeping the dark aura. He moved it back into position. The aura seemed somewhat... familiar, but he couldn't put his paw on it... He flew back to Xenocrates' hut, not noticing the black aura was following him, searching out a new being to corrupt.

She lashed her legs as not even her psychic was working, and the Aura was too weak. He squeezed her stomach tightly as he dropped her to the floor, as she recovered she spotted Izuri's paw glowing an intense purple. She stiffened as she pleaded with him; "Izuri you know what effect they can have on humans..."
He raised his paw, hesitating between his trust and loyalty. She froze under his attack, the area instantly crackling with poison. "To stop you running Miss. I'll be back with your aura."
He raised to his feet. She begged him to help her; "Izuri, my lower body is already numb, please!"
He shook his head then turned and pressed his hand to the ceiling. "You will not escape." She watched him disappear from view as rocks fell around her. "Izuri!" She yelled, unable to feel anything but her hands and head. She could see herself drifting into unconsciousness, as she held herself up as long as possible. Something touched her face as she clung onto the last part of reality she had left. "Adama? Can you hear me?" She flickered her eyelids slightly as a sign of acknowledgement. "Listen I have an antidote, but you've got to take it yourself, I can't reach!"
She knew this was her chance before she would die. She resisted the coldness she was feeling, using all her energy to move the hand that was holding the drink to her lips. It was tipped in as it slipped down her neck. Her energy drained as she looked through the gap the hand had once been. "Adama?"
She coughed as dust fell into her airways; "Thanks, Xenocrates?" She assumed, feebly lifting her hand to the hole, he took it and held it gently, keeping her company as she slept, awaiting Izuri's return.
