How do you get an individual runner to advance a base. Say I want someone to go home tagging up but dont want my runner from second to do go i know i have to press down on the dpad and x but my runner still doesnt go. Same problem running someone from first to third on a single. I press left and o but the runner still stops at second. I had the difficulty on rookie just to get used to the buttons since this is my first time ever playing the show....could that have been the problem or am I just an idiot

Want to advance an individual runner from 3rd to home plate, it should be down + Square.. I think, to be honest I haven't tried it out for 08, as I've been soloey playing RTTS.

The instructions for the game has a list for baserunning, see if it answers you there maybe.

Depending on the type of baserunning you have set as usually it is the base he is at SQUARE, and the base you want him to go to DOWN.

If he were at 2nd base and want him to go home it would be TRIANGLE and DOWN.

Put your left stick were his blue dot is and press what base yo want him to go to
