can someone one help me out i can't hit with crap i swing at crappy pitches i was hitting home runs like crazy in MLB The Show 07 that was sweet but i can't hit shit please need help i need brotherly love

they changed the hitting, its not as easy, you have to be very selective of the pitches you swing at. and know the pitcher as far as the style they pitch with. its not like 07 you cant just go up swinging at anything and hit homeruns like mad. you have to be very picky of the pitches you swing, thats what ive got from the game.

yeah u also have to go with the pitch. that means that unlike last year u can't just swing and hit it anywhere. if the pitch is on the outside a right would have knock the ball to right. for a lefty u would knock it to left. on an inside pitch u would pull the ball to left (righty) or right (lefty). u do this by moving the left analog stick (or the right but i think it is left) to the side of the field u wanna hit it to (left to hit to left field, right to hit to right). u could do this in 06 and 07 the show, but u didn't have to depend on it. in 08 u have to depend on it

If you had ever played 06 the show they showed you the
exact location of the pitch if you guessed it right in this game it wont unless you change the guess pitch option in the menues to classic 1/4 it will show you the exact location of the pitch if you guess it right
