Should be kept Modurn , maybe 5 years in the future and set in The UK, say the Russians or french trying to attack

I'd like it if it were modern day again, I'm not too keen on it being set in the future.

As for locale, I'd like it to be set somewhere you felt "wow, this is REALLY different." If it were set in Afghanistan, it would look like it was set in any number of places- Chad, Syria, any desert locale. There's nothing truly distinctive about Afghanistan so it could actually be anywhere, so that's what I'd want. Firefighting by a bullring or something along those lines. I'm not saying necessarily that I want a bullring, that's just the gist of it.

I agree with this, if it were futuristic it'd just feel like Halo or Unreal or something. I'm liking the modern warfare scenario, so I'd like it to stay around this era.

I would be thrilled if Infinity Ward actually took over CoD5. It should be CoD5: Modern Warfare. Speculation is going around that CoD4 will still be better than CoD5. I don't like this logic at all. When a new version of a game title is released, it should be better than it's predecessor, with new features, not worse.

I don't want futuristic weaponry (Halo) or weapons from the past like WW2. It would be great if the weapons included in the game are weapons that have been in use with the military service in the past 15 years, including tanks and aircraft.

I want my modern warfare back :@

I think Infinity Ward will listen and hopefully they will make the game based in mdoern times for Call of duty 6, We can only hope really, as long as enough people say they prefer Cod4 over Cod5.

I really dont mind where its set. As long as it's a good game then that will do.

I loved Resistance and i loved CoD4.

While i do like the modern times, i also like the simplicity of WW

i loved modern but i think they are doing the right thing by changing era because it might get to repetetive and they wont be able to add much

You can always move it into the future. Make it a Sci-Fi game.
