It's is going to be near impossible to try and mach the previous game due to it's amazing gameplay and machanics.
Call of Duty 4, also got the most selling game of 07. Defeating the game of the Year winner, Bioshock in sales. Personally, I think it will either match or do better than CoD 4 because of enhanched graphics and new gameplay. FIRST THREAD OF THE FORUM! I hope the gameplay is improved a bit, no problems here but it would be a shame if it didn't get a better at all.
Hopefully they throw in more online achievements and maps this time aorund as well. | |

I am guessing it will be roughly pretty similar, apart from better gameplay mechanics. CoD 4 online was fantastic, I hope they just add in some new maps & achievements for online.

Well seeing as it is a WWII game by the not-as-good-as-Infinity-Ward developers Treyarch, I don't think it will be as good. It should be better than Call of Duty 3 though. Hopefully they can step it up.

CoD3 was very interactive, which i liked, and one major thing i hated about CoD4 was the fact there are no ingame/random fist/gun fights like CoD3.
The CoD4 survers do suck, cause every time you join a match the match is about almost done and the host always quits halfway in. and the lag SUCKS! you could shoot a guy before lag, then the lag happens, and the guy gets no damage. WTF | |

Yeah, I miss almost falling off a platform from a guy that ambushes you. Fist fights add a little zing to the game.

The DS version for CoD4 has the fights, they're just more aggrivating though, and stupid.
