Hi I'm Black Rain. Started playing the CoD series since they first came out but never got into online till the start of Summer. Am fairly good at CoD4 and still haven't got WaW yet. Hopefully for Christmas!

Hello everyone. This probably doesn't warrant it's own thread and this is the closest thing to a GD thread I could find, so here goes:
Basically, I'm interested in getting this game. I haven't played the last CoD, although I have heard great things. I used to play the old Medal of Honour and Soldier of Fortune games on older consoles and the pc so I suppose they would be the closest thing I have played to this genre of game. I tend to like more realistic FPS games, rather than Gears of War, Halo etc. so I thought this would be a good choice for me, rather than other new releases such as Gears of War 2 or Fallout 3 etc. The only problem I have encountered with previous war games I have played is that I feel, as fun as they are at first, they tend to get a bit repetitive and boring. So based on what I have said, is this game for me? If not, is there any other new release that someone could recommend? I'd like an educated, detailed response if possible, not just; ''Yeah mate, get this game it's class!'' Thanks. Adz. ------------------- | |

Alright, Nyff here. Just got the game today and I'm actually new to the COD series. I love the game, although I'm not very good at it yet! I have alot of experience playing Halo online and god this is so much better imo.
