both are extreamely good, but i would say use a copy of someone elses first

After playing both, I personally like 4 better. Online is also better to me as well on CoD:4. CoD:5 has its perks but I still say number 4 is better.

I overall like Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare better. I mean, i like 5's nazi zombies and the perks, but overall 4 has better weapons, maps, and campaign.

4 in my opinion but 5 is good too.

Call of Duty 5 seems more realistic to me, there for i like it beter

COD4 is so much better. The guns, the maps, the playlists, the gameplay, everything is better.

Get COD4!

if i was u i would play cod 4, just 4 the fact that cod r realeasing a newer version of that game in november so id get used 2 that so u can kick ass on the new 1 lol

I'd say COD4 because it had an epic storyline and the multiplayer maps and weapons IMO were just overall better than COD5.

That's not to say that COD5 completely sucks - the storyline was epic aswell and the maps are decent. The new Nazi Zombies fature also adds to the replayability value. They are set in completely different time periods too. COD4 is set in modern times and COD5 in WWII.

However, I suggest you wait until COD6 which is coming out in November I think and entertain yourself with COD5 atm.

But man, I miss COD4 so much... I sold it to my friend but goddamn I miss it...

This battle has been going on forever, which is better?

Personally, online i like World at war better, if only because it feels more varied and colourful, the last one was rather bland and pastel after a while.

But for campaign i'd have to go for cod 4 because it was so new and entertaining.
(waws campaign follows closely behind as it reminded me loads of Saving private ryan and Enemy at the gates etc.)

I think its an opinion really as they both use the same engine and feel very similar. The majority of people will say modern warfare, but i think you should definitely give world at war a chance and not condemn it just for using the same engine.

And of course nazi zombies! WOO!

I think about it more now and i can see what you mean, but i still think that the colour range on the two games is very narrow.

COD WAW feels more varied online to me.
