I don't think the historians were sure it was a meteorite.... I'm not sure. Because it exploded and like left some trees standing in the middle, while all others were lying down surrounding the impact site. Since it exploded directly over some trees, the energy was about equal from all sides, hence, they remained standing. At least that's what I remember from that History Channel special.

The thing about the giant shows that there mite be a giant in upcoming dlc, or later levels of this one.

and it sounds like the zombies where a experiment gone wrong,
I would love to see treyarch make a pure zombies game.

EDIT: i found another radio, if you hold square (ps3) it will start up, its in a hut and its goes quite quietly its pretty interesting though it sounds like someone is being attacked.

Has anyone shot the metorite with the wonderwaffle? I've heard people mention to do it, but I can't find anyone who's actually done it. Plus, I don't have the game.. =/

Ok the first set of numbers the man on the radio were 6 numbers one of them was 115. Now we have gone to three maps with zombies i'm betting that the 6 numbers are diffrent map locations. 3 left. Peter the hung man probably went crazy because lock around ZOMBIES also he would of had to activate all three radios to get the mesage he probably didn't do that and thought that every one desrtied him. Some vids on youtube have the rock, in the storage area on the right, look beyond the fence that you cant pass, just go up the fence and you'll see this rock. Teryarch is going frikin' CRAZY with these zombies!

- I googled "R-4808n and it is a restricted airspace above Area 51, it is often associated with Groom Lake.

-37d14m06s N 115d48m40s W are coordinates of the airbase in Area 51.

-115 is an element (Uup or ununpentium) the U.S. has 500 pounds of this super heavy element in it's possession, it was sent from S4 to Los Alamos through the GROOM LAKE area.

-60d54m06.96s N 101d55m44.94s E are the coordinates of a meteor crash in Siberia. This may have something to do with the meteor that can be seen to the right of the swamp when going towards the storage building.

-The first static says "der Riese (more static)" der Riese is german for the giant. This is also peciliar because there is a slip of paper under a staircase in the main building that says "die Glock der Riese" (unsure of exactly this could mean)


- on the sheet of paper is says "die glocke", meaning "bell" Die Glocke is a top secret Nazi weapon or "Wunderwaffe" it has been associated with anti gravity research. see link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Bell

With all these different easter eggs and what seems like a background to it all, I'd love if Treyarch made a zombie game.
