Party is no longer active - Nazi Zombies |
|
Extremely mother*bleep*ing annoying.
My friends and I have been having this problem for a long time now and it's really getting on my *bleep*ing nerves now. What happens is we all get into a Co-Op game lobby and start searching for a Nazi Zombies match. 8/10 times in the midst of searching, everyone except the party leader gets a "Party is no longer active" notice, no matter who the leader is. The result is it makes it *bleep*ing painful to get a public match with 2 or 3 of us. This only happens on Nazi Zombies and is there any *bleep*ing way to fix this, so we don't have to sit there for an hour rehosting parties until we finally all get put in the match instead of just the party leader? -------------------

It's to do with the game hosts connection, i.e. the person who searches for the game.

Unlikely, since this even happens to my brother and I, who live in the same house (he bought another Xbox for himself, god knows why).

Yeah. Treyarch *bleep*ed up because I get "Party is no longer active" everytime my friend searches for a game with me. It pisses me off so much because it rarely happened on 4

it is the connection, it doesnt matter if the xboxes are 20 ft away or 200 molies away it is the hosting connection and how well they can connect with the servers, try restting your router.

It used to do the same thing to me when my roommate and I tried playing any type of match in our apartment. It really is annoying.
When you have your party together, switch the lobby over to private match, then back out of the private match. It cycles the connections and seemed to help out when we tried connecting. Do it about 3 or 4 times and you should be gravy. ------------------- ![]()

For everyone saying connection, I highly doubt it since this problem is only with Nazi Zombies, and my internet is relatively fast. For some reason, I find it hard to believe that I'd have a better connection to someone halfway across the world than someone 2 blocks away or even in the same house.

Have you performed a network check and ensured your nat settings are fine? If they are moderate or strict, this may be why you're struggling with connecting.

yeah its do to with how well you connect with other servers. so when your searching and you find a game but it dosnt connect you so your little symbol disapears back out and try again before it resets your server.

I really don't think it is the connection.
I think the message comes up because the party leader joins a game with less slots available than the amount of people in the party. So, if your party has two people in it, and the party leader finds a game, it usually finds a game with only one player slot open, so the other player is kicked. It only works when it finds a game with two player slots open, which we all know is possible, but rare. There is simply no solution to it. It is just a bug in the system.
