This game has been officially recalled and Cancelled.

I hear it was do to questionable religious material. More specificly it was related to Music based on Japanese religion in the background.

Anyway, if your a game collector, a fighting game fan, or were just contemplating on picking this up, you may want to do so soon, since it's recalled, it might not be available for long in resale shops.

Since the game already exists though, even for it's short time, this forum will remain open.

I thought they were singing chants from the Koran or something thats what I heard anyway, I could be wrong though.

People have said it sucked anyway, alteast Tae Feng (sp) is still coming out and you can bruise people and break bones for a little while.

Its made by one of those Mortal Combat developers, makers.

The game has been recalled from some stores and might not be officially produced anymore. But.. most stores are still keeping the game on stock. And there are plenty of copies to go around.
Yes one of the background tunes is basically a music rap with the Koran being read out loud. This is offensive to some and the reason for all the hoopla.
It was mentioned in the artical that Japan was one of the countries that also had a problem with it. This is not true... Japanese have little to no populace of Muslims and do not have an official stance on this subject. Just more fodder for the masses.
The level design is not very impresive but I do like the game. the fighting style is actually more complex then you might think. Everything has to do with distance and movements of the analog stick or digital pad or even if you have the L trigger held or not. A lot of variance based on seperate factors. Just ask my friends... they thought the controls were simplistic until they fought me instead of the game. All I heard from them then was... "How did you do that?" Give it a chance and practice practice practice... and you'll find the greater depth of the game.

I think they recalled it becuase it sucks. HOORAY! This could mark the end of Dream factory!
