I am in Jan Mayers island, And am stuck I have just killed the monster near the end. And jump on to the moving bars then chain which moves in to the wall, when i move along the chain i cant move fast enough and i fall off.

Any tips how to get to the other side?

Don't walk on the chain. Hang underneath it to move along it.

I am hanging uder the chain, but it is to fast and fall off.

Use the Triangle key in time with Lara's movements to speed up her travel.

This also works with swimming, moving on ledges, climbing on ladders, some ropes, vertical or horizontal poles etc.

This is useful for Time Trials.

It's also the key for manual recovery when she doesn't grab with both hands when jumping to a ledge. I'm usually pressing the triangle key almost constantly when Lara's not on the ground.
