On Shipwwrecked and Single who is the best guy to marry?

ok so i was trying to get a new husband and i broke up with akolo, now my sim is gone!! WHAT HAPPENED?!?!?!?!?!?!

The husband moved out with the stupid monkey, but then some how my new 'love' was sitting there alone with the neighbors .....

Well I think it has some thing to do with the goals but I will find out more.

I don't think it has anything to do with "goals".
I don't like the fact that you have to marry at the end of S&S story. I found the girl of my dreams, but it was only after I played S&S all the way. She was a maid that showed up one day. After I asked her to move in, she and my sim disappeared. My sim wife has memories of me, but I don't show up as part of family.
I have also lost my sim on Wanmami Island which is in free play and doesn't have "goals".

S&S is "shipwrecked and single". This is the story mode you have to play to continue on free play on the island.

Hi,
If I'm following you right, when you break up with someone, the one who says, Break Up, will stay in the house, the other will leave and be in your people inventory (bin area), where you create a new family, etc.

See if they are not there, sorry it's a late reply but might help someone in the future.

I've had corruption to where I go back to a lot that i played, maybe a month or 2 ago only to find that I have houses, all of my sims that I created, including my alien children or adults have all disappeared.

I had empty houses, or children missing from sims that were their sims, that i had move in together, get married, have children. I think it is just pure game corruption. That's when I delete that game number.

I use to use names, but after corruption continued, I started naming them 1 2 3 4 5
now am up to 06, so I have had about 20 games that I've played.

When I go back to a former game, it's corrupt. I guess a fresh install would help, but I'm just sticking to one game, playing it and realizing that if I leave, I most likely cannot come back.
When I tried to go back, I have same issues in all of them, my sims are just gone. No one there but their original characters.
Oh well, live and learn and I didn't get some major stuff backed up. One time that I burned on DVD, I burned my EA folder from Programs, not realizing that you need the user data files which are stored in Electronic Arts folders in Documents.

Now I know.
