I've been visiting alot of message boards based on SF4..Gamefaqs, and a few non mainstream boards..and ALOT of people have been threatning to quit SF4 because of turtles. Now we all know turtles are annoying..but seriously..quitting the game because of them? Whats that gonna solve? I've also noticed ALOT of people complaining about certain characters..One of them being El Fuerte..Calling him "cheesy" or beyond cheap. Also people have been threatening to quit the game because of Zangief. I'm sure some of you have been noticing this stuff lately if you go to other boards and what not. Well, I'm not gonna quit the game because of a playing style. These guys need to just learn to work around it.

What do you think of all this?

If only they made SF4 like 3rd strike.
with parries, just a bit faster.

Real skill would DOMINATE turtles, one hitter el fuertes and anything else really.

Oh I miss the days of 3rd strike like crazy...

thankfully i just play player matches with a couple of friends and non of us use cheap tactics. we never use ken either. i used to play the odd ranked match but i got bored of facing ken everytime, why dont people try somebody new! it wasnt that i couldnt beat them, for christ sakes all they do is jump kick low kick shoryuken, and thats the ones who dont jump backwards and use hadoken spam. i think kens the main reaosn i stopped rank matches because it just become boring and repetive, especially when i get barraged with messages for beating ken with dan and jump taunting. anyways i just stick to the player matches now, in most games tbh as you find people take ranked matches waaaay too seriously in every game going!

Couldn't have put it better myself, john. This is why I try to play this game only with friends. And yes..Ken, despite when in the right hands is amazing, is rather annoying when the majority of the people you play in Ranked and what have you use him. I like variety in a fighting game, and I guess some people don't get that. The moral to this story, have friends to play this game with.

While we all know Sagat is ridiculously strong..I wouldn't say he's overpowered. There are ways around him. Though I'll admit, I REALLY hate those Sagats that spam projectiles and if you get to close F.Kick or Tiger Knee you backwards and keep doing it.

bring em turtles on! i dont see any problem with turtles i just see it more of a challenge to try and break the shell :P i agree that it can get annoying after countless battles the same ol' style but it does feel wayy better when i win an can talk trash after haha

thats exactly what he means, i prefer to turn punch past the fireballs with balrog then mash jabs wait for the tiger kick or uppercut then mash 'em in the air with a buffalo headbutt or a straight before they land. harder than it sounds but effective if you can get the timing right :]
