i went to the systemrequirementlabs.com site and checked to see if my laptop will run this game. everything passed the only thing it failed on is VGA.

Minimum: DirectX 9.0c compatible video card. NVIDIA GeForce 6800 or better, ATI Radeon X800 or Better
You Have: ATI MOBILITY RADEON X600 (ATI display adapter (0x3150))

so before I open it and waste 30$. do u guys think that this will run it.???

after hours of searching for the drivers. I managed to upgrade my drivers to the latest releases (feb 09).

the game runs, I managed to have the highest resolution, which is pretty cool. If I run it on low graphics, the game runs very smoothly and the graphics are ok.
but if i change to anything higher than that. the game scrolling becomes kind of choppy. but i can actually raise it all the way to the highest ghraphics settings.

i know once the screen is full of tanks buildings and soldiers it might stop working.

well for now this is the best I can do short of going out and buying a new system.

I have the same setup and situation. I don't mind the not-so-fancy graphics. It's better than not playing the game.

I installed this game on my parents' laptop, (only because my own computer does not have a DVD-ROM on it). It runs kind of slow and the graphics are set on the lowest definition, which to me is better than not playing the game at all.

I am hoping on having my computer fixed, which is locked from some kind of corrupt file, and it is also a few years old and probably does not have the right software to run the game even when I have the DVD-ROM I received for christmas last year installed. I really want to try out Uprising. With the new units and everything.
