id recommend making a strong defence of tanks infantry a aircrafts always use your aircrafts to take out the enemy tanks or at least weaken them so your tanks don't get to much resistance

China level 7 is an endurance mission.
1) Take out the few units facing you at the very beginning. 2)Look down the valley for the two dozers, get one to build a Command center, another barracks. 3) Get your army up the cliffs, build Propaganda Towers on both Overlords. Separate the two Inferno cannons into their own group. Then assault the enemy base; have your tanks duel the enemy tanks, your Dragon tanks eliminate the RPG troopers and buildings, and your Inferno cannons take out Rocket Buggies. 4) While the battle rages on, the Barracks will be ready: build Red Guards, cue the Capture Building upgrade. Send the dozer up the cliffs towards your army. Put 3 General points into Cash Hack. When you get the fourth, put it into Cluster Mines. As soon as the Command Center is ready, send the freed dozer up the cliffs towards your army and cue a third dozer in the Command Center. 5)Take out the entire enemy base except for the Supply Depot. Use the cash hack on the supply depot- that's $4000 to help you build up your base. Then have the Red Guard capture it and build enough workers for supply harvesting plus one as a builder. 6) Advance to the edge of the city towards the pile of resources, and have your dozer build a Supply Depot there. The third dozer should be ready by now; get it started on the Nuclear Reactor. 7) Have the remaining dozer start building defenses along the edge where the high ground ends. As soon as the dozer building the Supply Depot is free, have it join in (don't forget to cue supply trucks). You will be under a sustained assault throughout the mission, so your defences need to be HEAVY. Three-four Gattling Towers and four-five bunkers with Tank Hunters should just about do it. You will also need two airfields worth of Migs to take out Rocket Buggies and Scud Launchers. Set them in ground guarding mode BEHIND your defences, NOT in front of them, else the Quad Cannons and the RPG troopers will harras them. This way the Migs will be up in the air and you can send them in manually on short notice when you spot the Buggies or the Scuds approach. If you want still more support, build two more Inferno Cannons, have them stand behind your defence structures and force fire at the ground at the outer limit of their range. A salvo of four Inferno Cannons continuously force-firing at the same spot= constant Firestorm. 8) The Scud Storm timer has now begun. It will count down to zero, but will not launch for as long as your cash is below 5000. Build a GLA arms dealer and a few radar vans, and use Radar Scan to reveal the map. I tend to sacrifice a couple of Migs in order to scout out the enemy's Supply depots and the Scud Storm location because its faster this way, but some might think it wasteful. 9) Enemy attacks on your defences will bring you up to level 5 very quickly. Get Level 3 Artillery barrage and hit the Scud Storm with it. The AI will not repair it or rebuild it once its destroyed. 10) While you're waiting for the AB to count down, use Radar scan to reveal the enemy Supply Depot, and cash hack it for another $4000. Make sure your money is below 1000 before you cash hack, or Scud Storm will launch. Keep dropping Cluster Mines in the choke points along the enemy's approach routes. 11) Build a Propaganda Center as soon as you have the cash, and start building Hackers before you run out of resources. You will inevitably hit a slow point in the game when the resources are already depleted, but the Hackers are still too few to get a steady cash flow. Suffer through it. You can try capturing the Oil Derrick, but there's no way you can hold on to it long-term. 12) Once the Scud Storm is gone and you have enough Hackers for a steady cash supply, you have two options. You can build a bunch of tanks and rush through the city; it will be difficult and costly because the enemy will keep on coming without end, your forces will get divided in the city streets and the Overlords, even "nuclear", are annoyingly slow. If you choose the tank rush option, have the Migs take out the tall, thin towers in the city center before you approach them; Jarmen Kel is in one of them, and you don't want him shooting at your tanks. Another option is a methodical siege by Migs, Nukes and superweapons. It requires patience, but it's cheaper, less risky and not really that much slower than a tank rush. Two airfields of Migs cost the same as two Overlords with Gattling cannons, but they can do much more damage much faster. Build 4+ airfields and use Migs in groups of 8 to take out the GLA's lowland base, then Stinger sites one by one so you could attack the mountain base with impunity. 8 fully upgraded Migs can take out a Stinger site without losses, because napalm takes out the missile men very fast. You could probably make do with 6, but other, larger buildings will survive 6 Migs+ Firestorm, and changing group layouts is a hassle. Only the Command Center will survive 8, so have it damaged by nukes or Artillery Barrage before your Migs hit it. You may lose some Migs to ground fire from enemy units as they fly over the city, but it won't be much of a hindrance really. Once nukes become available, use them. One nuke reduces any GLA building to a GLA hole, but it will never destroy the building; you'll need Migs or a second nuke for that. You could also try building your own Scud Storms; those can wreak some serious havoc, perhaps better than the nukes, they cover more ground and they require no power. Make sure you take out the Supply Depots and the Black Market as soon as you can. Cash-starving the enemy is always a good thing. | |
