I think it looks like a guy...rather than a girl, the head looks like it's wearing a helmet with a...frill thing and although "it" is fairly skinny, I think it looks quite muscular, although the arms tiny. On looking at the tiny arm, it looks like they're wearing a waistcoat which is more of a guy thing. As for the "turtle shell", isn't that just the other arm? with the hand on the hip...

Also with Zhang He and Ranmaru and even Taigong, there's no reason why it couldn't be another lady-man...

Too thin to be wearing a turtle shell. Could be the coat shape, a jet pack, or long hair behind the torso? Guessing at silhouettes is difficult...

That thing can't be "her" hand on "her" hip, because the human anatomy wouldn't allow someone to bend his/her hand before the wrist, and especially not the entire hand. Pressuming both hands is of the same size that is.

The thing you see on his hip is behind him, his hand isinfront, but you can't see it. The thing behind him is also the thing behind his head.

Of course I could be wrong, asuming that the thing behind his head is somekind of part of the costume.

It's a turtle shellI tell you.

This does no prove weather it's a boy or a girl, but I'm pretty sertain thatit's a young boy.

I've also got some hard facts.

* The thing you see behind his head is NOT a collar. If it was it would have been placed symetrically on both sides of his shoulders. Which it is not.

* The cloth on his right arm is thicker and covers the whole hand, but it can't be thick enough to cover the black space between his elbow and chest. Which is yet another proof that he's got something on his back (turtle shell)

* Theres no way a person can bend and stretch his hand out like that. His hand may be placed on his upper hip but it is impossible for a hand to bend out like that. Yet another proof that he's got something on his back.

* His robe does not cover his left thigh. So it could be a skirt. (girl). But it could also be a type of garment much like the one Ranmaru is wearing (on the left side that is)

* His hair is tied up. KOEI girls doesn't do that (boy)

* He wears big boots. He actually looks abit like a square enix main characyer. Tidus from FFX or Sora from KH. Young boy indeed.

* His size indicates that he's a young boy. Come on... look at him.

Those aren't facts, but speculations. You are convinced it isn't a collar because you think it isn't symetrical? Why can't he/she wear asymmetrical clothing?

Well the arms are way to skinny. The Hair reminds me that of a character from naruto.. who had spiky hair and it was a girl.. We shall wait and see....

Looks to me like a young boy, but they've done pretty well at making it deceptive, as there is a possibility it's a girl too. I'm leaning slightly more towards male for now, i guess I'll wait and see!
