Yup I certainly prefer Cao Pi in game - he does indeed work quite nicely with Zhen Ji. I did prefer him in WO to DW5 too - finding him slightly likeable when he was with Mitsunari
I just find his combo very jerky and not all that useful - his C5 is quite handy but other than that I'm not keen
I can't really comment on whether he's pretty or not lol
But yeah in the history, I loathed him - I always thought that Yuan Xi made a much better husband then he did My opinion of them in history often affects my judgement of the characters within the game...I just get annoyed when people like him and Zhen Ji as well actually get places in DW for doing very little whilst other people still remain as NPC's
I don't know what he's like in DW6...I don't have a PS3 yet...

Yup I started with the game first (DW3) and then read three kingdoms...and yup my opinion of people changed quite a bit. Zhu Rong and Da Qiao are two people that I quite like that "shouldn't really be in the game" although now they're both gone in DW6 anyway I love Zhen Ji's R1 thing that slows everyone down - so handy but otherwise, like Cao Pi I'm not that keen - her range isn't up to much...and I'm more of a fan of crowd clearers generally (Zhao Yun + Zhang Liao ) so she doesn't really suit my playing style

I like his personality he looks like a nice prince in DW6 but has a dark bad ass personality same with Kotaro except he looks nothing like a prince. I know his SW3 look will be awesome.

I guess I'm the only one that likes him. Personally, I am a fan of dual-wielding, like Cao Pi, but, unlike most people here, I actually like his personlity. Evil, which suits me!

Aww it's making me feel all nice for not liking the "evil" characters I just don't seem to get along with people like that...Cao Pi, Cao Cao, Orochi, Lu Bu, Kataro etc would all be in my lower ranks of a favourites order...what am I doing wrong

Maybe you have to adapt to them and then learn how to accept the dark side?

In game wise do like his (Cao Pi's personality). I found it a lot more realistic than there being a lot of characters who are doing it for honor, or for the greater good, some people were power hungry, fact. Despite not liking the 'real' Cao Pi, game wise, he's definitely on of my favourites, he added more depth to the story. It's always a little fun to play the bad guy

Yeah thats why I liked DW6 it portrayed the real them who knew people didn't like Zhuge Liang so much.

I never really liked Zhuge Liang myself. Found him irritating, especially in DW5.
Sun Ce is somebody i really like, i liked his story in WO1 defecting to Orochi . It made it interesting because of his outlook and attitude. His weapons not bad either, he's one of the few power characters i regularly utilised. His story is sosad though.

Gasp - but the dark side is just so...anti-me. I'll give it a go...I prefer Sima Yi to Zhuge after all - he is irritating is that a start?
I do get annoyed with the whole fighting for Honour and Justice thing though - Kanetsugu + Ma Chao + Nagamasa although I like all three characters movesets

Loved Ma Chao's move set, his character just annoyed me quite a bit. I never put that much effort into unlocking him in WO1. I hope in this game, the starting and unlockable characters are different. There were far to many unlockable good characters and average starting characters in the last game. I did like Mitsuhide though XD

I prefer all the DW5 cast compared to their next-generation counterparts. Cao Pi and Sima Yi, espcially. I've always been a big fan of both of them. Sima Yi more, but Cao Pi is up there too. His personality and his ambition is something to be admired, IMO. He and Mitsunari worked very well together in WO. Sima Yi is very evil and wicked in WO, and it was really funny when he worked with Zhuge Liang at Odowara Castle.

I know that the starting characters are different, and so is the process that you unlock them. For example, there are no requirements to get characters, as far as I know.
