Those images of Himiko were deleted, besides the quality was horrible.


If the renders aren't released this week I think the deadline should be extended.

The Himiko Image is Still there and the quality looks fine to me, (though that is in fact a newer version than the first time) As for extending the deadline, I will decide closer to the current deadline whether or not the deadline should be extended, if there are no renders closer to the date, I'll make the best decision for everyone then.

It is poor most of her body is missing and it looks a little paper like.

You should add a link to the renders on the first page, BG. So people don't have to look through the thread for them. ^^

Okay due to the surprising lack of renders still at this late stage, the deadline will be extended to MAY 10th. If there are no Himiko renders by then, I will have to request that people use what they can for the entries and then we will re-host another soon, perhaps with the newer renders in.

Okay seems fair.

I was thinking, even if we can get the renders in time, it may be nice to hold another one sometime after the European/American release anyway, it's always nice to have a little bit of change, but for now, we'll see how this one goes

Hmm, that looks good Akashi, but how come the top of it is hacked off? Oh, and making the lightning animated would make it look even better, that is if you can.

Yay, we finally have an entry. I love the style, particularly the way you have blended the writing and the pictures, that looks incredible. The only small problem, as you mentioned, is the frame around orochi. Perhaps if you were to use his picture without a frame? That said, I do like the combination of the blue and the deep red, nice choices there.

Great header, Akashi. I really love the writing on it and the lightening storm looks great. The picture goes extremely well and the colours set the scene well.

As for the frame, it is good but could probably improved by adding something to the frame, like lighting or an extra colour to make it less a solid block mayhap?

Overall it is a brilliant header.

Akashi: I love these new versions, i'd say entry one was my favourtie, with that little something extra added to the background.

SXH: Wonderful, I love the choice of characters in both, though for the colours and the subtle details i'd say the second is my favourite.

I'm definately not as skilled as either of you two with photoshop or graphics, but i thought i'd enter just for the fun of it, no harm in trying eh. It's nothing special though:
