You don't know who Kennyo Honganji is?
He was the leader of the Ikko sect who struggled and fought against the Oda before the Azai/Asakura and after the Imagawa.


Bringing him back would cover the huge gap in the Oda story. SW1 focused mostly on Nobunaga while the second game focused on the Toyotomi, Tokugawa and Eastern/Western army.

I hope that they'll bring back the entire aspect in SW3 with the Imagawa, how the Oda attained power (Ikko rebellion), nobunagas ambitiona and then the SW2 thingies. SW1 only had Yamazaki, Komaki-Nagakute, Osaka and Ueda after Honnoji.

Ok I'm gonna work this a bit differently...I don't think I can choose between people so I'm gonna try and picture them as playable characters in the game

Hmmm....well Sleva would be...unique...very strong personality - which may be good, maybe bad ummm...BG would be a 'safer' character...quite a strong personality...not my kind of moveset though

Zhu Rong of course!!!! you've already heard me go on about her loads of times so I won't do it again but she's amazing!!!! in all ways
Zhang Jiao moveset wise is probably the worst imo quite fun though

Zhang Jiao is great if you manage to use him correctly.
(Zhu Rong + Yuan Shao and Hideyoshi R1 boost = Simply AMAZING )

Zhang Jiao is Technique types which means that airborn enemies is damaged massivly by his musou.
Zhang Jiao is also funny, and his flame attacks aren't really that bad if you actually use them. Not using them because they are elementless is foolish. They push and burn the enemy, allowing Zhang Jiao some spare seconds.
Same goes for Yoshimoto really.
Just because they are both elementless doesn't mean that they suck donkeyballs. Use and abuse is all I have to say
