Ok. It's a pitch black night. The banner of Cao Cao's kingdom of Wei to the north, faces Nobunaga's banner to the south. Each have an equal ammount of troops, both have their best and most trusted warriors, and both wish to unify the land under his own rule.

The question is:
Who will win?

I'm interested to see people's opinions
I'd like people to say who they thinks gonna win, why & if possible, name some interesting tactics they might use

I always see them as equal. They both have decent strategies and brilliant and talented officers.

For me I'd put Cao Cao's forces over Nobunaga's but I'm always DW biased Cao Cao's sheer number of brilliant generals and strategists would overwhelm Nobunaga in the end IMO...although I'm sure he has some pretty decent people too. With the likes of Guo Jia and Jia Xu to fall back on as strategists and Zhang Liao and Xu Huang as warriors and Deng Ai as a bit of both! he couldn't lose! that's just my opinion anyway

Cao Cao would fall as the Takeda at Nagashino XD

Nobunagas rifles, sheer number and brilliant officers would bring the Wei forces to their knees...
I'm talking about warriors like Niwa Nagahide, Mitsuhide Akechi, Shibata Katsuie and Ranmaru Mori.

I'd definetly say Cao Cao would win... More officers... More warriors... More strategists... Just more which means more talent.

I forgot the Chinese had no muskets at the time. lol

Yes the Oda would obliterate Wei.

More officers? Nobunaga had officers and allies spread across the central Japan... Just because Wei have more officers in DW5 than the Oda clan has in SW2 doesn't mean that Cao Cao has more officers XD

Nobunaga is overwealming... Though... I'm abit worries about Guo Jia and Sima Yi .______. they're pretty wise

You haven't played ROTK have you? Cao Cao has so many Fing officers its not even funny... And I'm going by the Heros of Chao scenario... If you took out the betrayers of him hed have even more... And he said Pitch Black so Muskets would not do so hot in the dark. And he said the Armies of Cao Cao and Nobunaga not the Armies of Cao Cao and Nobunaga and their allies.... if he said allies then I guess... Shu and Wu would be brought into this as well....

Ok, i think i should make it a little more clear. yes, i did say the forces of Cao Cao & Nobunaga, i kinda doubt Shu & Wu would help Wei though. Only their own forces are participating in the battle.

Cao Cao will win, i think. Cao Cao seems more cunning than Nobunaga. But it's better if they make a team

Cao Cao will win, and i don't know the reason why i prefer Cao Cao than Nobunaga.

I think it would be a tough battle, but in the end I'd say Cao Cao and his forces would win. They lack the speed and in some ways the Skill of Oda, but i think as a whole Cao Cao's forces and he himself are more deceptive, and overall better at battle and warfare, even if not better at actual physical fighting.

I say Nobunaga oda would win, in the game anyway, I just really like his gan ning style moves, that could cut through cao cao and decapitate him lol.

I like Gan Ning musou since it deals a great damage. But Nobunaga? It's hard to control and just make a little damage. That's why I choose Cao Cao

suppose, but I like how nobunaga does it, and what it looks like as hes doing it, looks so well...hard to pull off lol
