All elemental angels are immune to darkness cuz they are pure light. and you are imune to angel spells. so pretty much elemental angels can kill demons after a heated battle, and can hassle you, but ultimately you can kill them. so as far as the thread goes, you guys are attacking Kinjiru castle. am i still there?

mmkay so if i'm still there, i am ocmmander, but yoshitsune was already intorduced, but not taigong. i guess he will stay as a detached unit in yokohama. how large is your army? cuz like i said before, i got 300,000 and 100,000 horses.

Syn begins to say, an evil speech:

Also: I am no longer a god. i do have wings, but no one else does. i still have my fifty and they are just elemental angels, nothing special. Plus, Kinjiru Castle is still "special" hope you like it.

"My Lord, The Demon Syn is leading a force towards Kinjiru Castle!"
"How big do they look Masashige?"
"At least as much as our own, maybe even more...."
"Damn it Syn!"
"What do you want done my lord?"
"Call upon our archers and have them stationed correctly, then, get a unit of sixty thousand including my fifty on horses and have them set at the key stress points."
"Yes Sire, and what about you?"
"I have directions to give...."
"I understand Sire."

I got up and followed Masashige out the door where he had run to spread the alert and get the men i needed. I strode up to the palisades and looked out into the dusk sky. I transformed and looked out again, now able to see the hordes of demons that had come to my walls. I groaned softly and looked down at my hands.

"Is.... this to be my last?" i asked myself.
"Have faith in men, not in the darkness...." came the soft reply.

I swept my hand across the top floor of the castle and a whip of fire erupted. It shot across and lit every lamp on top of the castle. Now everyone could see the impending attack and started rushing about the castle.

"Musashi! Call upon the council and have them meet on the platform, heavily armed."
"In your prescence, old friend??" asked musashi quizically on the floor below in plan view.
"Yes my friend." i replied, knowing that it was the act of a madmen to have potential doublecrossers armed and near me.

I ran down the blocks, personally checking each and every chain, and metal work and palisade, making sure they were ready. for some i manipulated the elements to strengthen it. Next, i flew over to the very top of the donjon and looked out to Syn's forces and quickly calculated. There were four brigades of one hundred thousand men each in quarters on the plains outside of the castle, behind them was a path of ash and fire. I groaned, then smiled. I had forgotten about the hundreds of traps that i had set up. As if on cue, there was an explosion and the screams of hell broke out among the ranks.

Syn was a very straight forward commander i thought. He led his forces very deliberately to their goal, and took whatever losses he had to to make sure the overall goal was met. In this case, he was smart because i had set traps up for a scrambling army, one who was frightened by the first trap and then would spread out. Syn's overall flow of troops was not so. There were outlying clusters of demons who did stray a little, only to be annihilated. They were still a few thousand meters away, but i could still count a force about seventy thousand more than mine.

"This battle is gonna be one for the ages."
"Is it now?" came the reply of Ma Chao behind me, who had climbed up onto the donjon, and a little bit behind him, Lord Gary.
"Well met Ma Chao, and you as Well Lord Gary" i said, eyes burning looking at these two fine warriors.
"Well met indeed" replied Gary. "Are there plenty for me to kill Lord Fu Ji Ren?"
"That and more" i said, smiling.
"Then let us kill them all, for justice!" came the roar of Ma Chao.

I smiled and flew down the donjon to the forecourt, both Ma Chao and Gary holding on to one of my arms. I landed swiftly and sat at the head of my officers, looking out at them. Kotaro Fuuma, Hideyoshi Toyotomi, Lord Gary, Lord Ma Chao, Yoshitsune Minamoto, Taigong Wang, Zhang Liao, Zhao Yun, Nene, Yoshihiro Shimazu and his clan, Ma Dai, Genchiyo Tachibana and her clan, Ieyasu Tokugawa, Hanzo Hattori, Tadakatsu Honda, Ina, Hisahide Matsunaga, Zhu Rong and her mistresses,Musashi Miyamoto and Noboru Takinaka all looked up at me, eyes set, weapons at their sides.

"My friends. My vassals, and my officers. I am so glad to see you all here today in the face of such devilry. I can never thank the gods enough for somehow letting me become each of your friends, brothers-in-arms, and your lord. I have depended on each and every one of you as much as you have depended on me. It is a testament to your loyalty to see all of you still here.
"Today, destiny is not our friend. Syn has come to our door, extremely powerful, and intent on wiping out our resistance against his tyranny. He comes at us with some 367,000 men. He has the fear of his demons as his soldier and each of his demons is blood thirsty, and waiting to kill us."

i was interrupted by masashige, who came running up to me.

"My Lord, The archers are in place. the cavalry is at the gate, and the remaining forces are up, eating as of right now, and heavily armed. I decided to double the archers and put your fifty aside, for you will need them."

I smiled up at him, for that was my plan exactly and i planned on keeping him off balance, thus on edge with the changes.

"You are a good soldier Masashige" i said truly meaning it.
"Thank you my Lord." came the reply.

He took his seat and looked up at me as expectantly as everyone else. I stood up and continued.

"In this castle, we stand for a brighter future. We have seen the deeds that Orochi, the snake king has done to us. We have eachother and i must say, i feel sorry for those demons out there. The only advantage they have is numbers. but i belie...."

I was cut off again as i saw Ma Chao and Gary's eyes leave mine and looked to the door behind me, which was now open. Their Eyes became wider and smiles spread across their faces. They jumped up, along with Zhao Yun and ran to the figure. I turned around and saw three men standing there, clad in green. i immediately drew out my broadswords and got in a defensive position.

"Who are you?" i commanded.

The leader walked forward and knelt.

"I am Liu Bei, Leader of Shu, and these are my sworn brothers, Guan Yu and Zhang Fei. We have come to pledge our services to the noted Fu Ji Ren, master of elements. We lead a force of fifty thousand men, who is knocking on your back wall, wanting to join you as well."

Tears ran down my face as i walked over to the kneeling figure, swords still at my seat. I helped him get up and i hugged him.

"Thank you Master Liu Bei. Thank you!"

After pleasantries were shared, Liu Bei, Zhang Fei and Guan Yu were administered to, and the troops led inside, We all sat down again. Even Liu Bei looked up at me, eyes set.

"Due to our most thankful reinforcements, we are now almost even with the demons that are now only a couple thousand meters away. All of our men are ready."

I turned from the speechist, to the strategist and knelt closer to my officers.

"This is a defensive battle only. we have enough supplies to outlast them and we WILL out last them. Every unit is human, thus has human intellect and intuition. All will report to me, and to eachother. We are allies and friends in the same cause. Now. Archers will drive off the first wave with specially made arrows. I imagine Syn will target them first and kill them quickly, once he finds what the arrows are made of. As of right now, you all have your previously assigned troop from your own lands. with mine, each of you will receive five thousand men from my regimens. I will travel with my fifty and my fifty alone. If i am to die in this battle, The leader of MY personal armies will be Musashi Miyamoto, but overall leadership of the resistance will be Liu Bei."

i looked out at my officers and let my young side show a little bit. All understood what kind of fight this will be, and all were prepared. I knew it. It will be a fight to remember....

Suddenly an arrow sliced through the air, heading for my face. I caught it in my Blood Red hand an inch from between my eyes. I spread my Wings and let the light of my halo show.

"Prepare for Battle men!! Lets show these bastards what its like to cross a true warrior!!"

After Lord 5rings took us back inside the castle for rest, he set our spirits sky-high, I felt as if I was unbeatable. However, there was one more ingredient needed before I could reach my full potential, a power so great it would enable me to match the mystical abilities of Kiyomori, and possibly even Syn...

To do this, I needed to overcome a powerful opponent, one of more skill and power than myself. As I readied for battle, pondering this, I heard a familiar voice...

"Hey Spear Master! I'm not finished with you yet. That was fun! How about another round?

Sun Wukong... I stepped up on the edge of the castle wall.
With a smile, I replied to the monkeys request.

I would wish for nothing more. And the names Gary

I leaped from rooftop to rooftop until I was low enough to land on the ground. Spear in hand, I was ready to fight to the death. Each commander ordered their armies to stand down, so all could see the fight.

Looks like we have one hell of an audience, lets give them a good show.

With that, the battle commenced. We struck at the same time clashing weapons before jumping back, then rushing back at each other again. We fought evenly for thirty or so bouts, able to predict each others moves almost perfectly. Without doubt, the mightiest warrior I have ever faced alone, and the only one ever to survive the second dual. My power increased with each bout, I could feel myself getting stronger, no doubt this power was somehow linked with the end of my internal struggle. It grew further until I managed to impale the Monkey King with my spear. I smiled, knowing Sun Wukong is immortal, thus our glorious battle could continue.

Incredible. Your power is growing, Kiyomori will be pleased to fight such a worthy foe...

Having said that, Wukong jumped back and landed on his flying nimbus cloud and flew off to Kiyomori's location.
Zuo Ci appeared behind me.
