So, Mystic stood up and said with a loud voice

Hey, demon with scythe or anything like that! That's cheating when you kill us with your brute strength alone!
Lets fight on mind and strategy! How about it? I'm sure you don't have any brilliant tactics at all! We're excellent with tactics, you know?!

Mystic, what are you doing?! You make things even worse!

Ha! I think he don't have any single idea! I'm sure with your brilliant tactic, we can win against him, or at least we can escape from him. Don't you remember Yi Ling and Shi Ting? I'm sure you can make a good plan too!

Artirtico

Home was close now, visible after crossing this one last crest of land. Reaching the Willowed clearing would finally make all of the travelling worthwhile, rest, tranquil relaxation awaiting him. Although the stay would be short, with the certain chaos sure to erupt, Artirtico was looking forward to, savouring every moment that his peaceful haven would provide him.

He crested the hill, looked down onto where the haven resided, to see the charred, black, bitter remains of the Willows, now mere stumps emerging from the lifeless ground. The river had dried up, the fruit bushes and grasses no longer in existance and his home was nothing more than a pile of ash.

A low, anguished moan escaped from his mouth. Sinking to his knees, he tore at his face and hair, unfeeling, completely crushed. His body felt hollow yet flooded, uncaring and mortified. Everything had been lost, everything that he had ever cared for, was now gone. How could he continue, the pain unbearable, the war hopeless and yet in the depths of his heart, another feeling came to being. He was now free. He cared for nothing, nothing would now influence his actions, nothing could be used to go against him. His new sense held him there, he didn't know for how long, now standing, looking upwards through the last few gaps in the clouds covering the sky, resolute, determined to make a difference somewhere or somehow.

Sometime later, hours, days, he didn't know, his stationary poise was broken, a female voice saying his name, somehow releasing him from his current state of mind. He turned to see the young woman, dressed in orange, daggers held ready in each of her hands.

"Mystic?..."

The recognition of her face made him realise that he did care. Was he so cold-hearted not to appreciate the people that had at one time aided him? This was answered as a single tear ran down his left cheek, leaving a trail or clean skin as it fell. He turned his head slightly as if pointing over to the right, prompting Mystic to look down upon the ruin of his home. She was one of the few people that had been told about the place, not the location, but of the meaning it carried to Artirtico, so, as she sited it, she realised what it was. Her heart sank, feeling his pain, eyes watering but she held herself together for his sake. She sheathed her daggers and walked over to Artirtico who for once was grateful of the company, usually being happiest on his own.

"I'm..so sorry..."

Her warmth was lightening Artirtico's mood, he could feel feeling once again. He embraced her in a hug, so relieved that she didn't pull back, knowing that this was what he needed. His growing consciousness however realised Lu Xun's presence, so quickly ended it and looked at her face, now smiling an infectious smile. He smiled back, finally feeling a sense of positivity once again.

"Thankyou...", he said quietly

The Demon God appeared sometime later, revealing the identity of the mysterious figure leaving the ruins of Koshi Castle. Finally Artirtico had somebody to unleash his rage upon, recognising this entity as a villain, any fear being ignored through lack of feeling, fighting with a fury that even surprised the demon slightly, prompting it to acknowledge his, Mystic's and Lu Xun's strength. In the end, with the influence of Mystic's cunning words, the Demon God departed, leaving the three of them alone once again.

Singe made it to the Wei camp and talked to Cao Pi in secret.

"Now I've gotta wait for the answer." He then felt Spawn's retreat. "Are their really people that strong?"
Singe dissapeared towards Wu Zhang Plains. And appeared right infront of Artico, Mystic, and Lu Xun.

"What the heck?! Spawn retreated from these guys..." Singe laughed and pointed at the three who looked at him weird.

"Who the heck are you?" Lu Xun asked.

"I am a God... A Deity... I am the Wind God." Singe replied with a smile.

"Wind god? Pfft you don't seem that strong..." Artico replied.

Singe looked at him in the eyes. He then moved with such speed that he appeared ontop of Artico's shoulders and put his spiked gauntlets to the back of his neck. Artico didn't move. Mystic looked amazed. And Lu Xun feared for Artico's life. Singe seeing this removed the gauntelt from Artico's neck.

"I'll let you live... I have better plans. I just wanted to see why Spawn ran... And now I see."
With that Singe dissapeared.

Chapter 1: The Coming of Destruction, part 4

He has drifted from the humans, realizing their stupidity.

Foolish humans, become ash, in this here world.

He was now near Taira and planned on meeting him. He ventured towards him, killing all who stand his way. The air was filled with blood. The cries of the mortals filled the air. Warriors fight with a rage and the demons laugh, as they slay them, one by one. He was of no difference. He was enjoying the humans' suffering. Upon this here merged world of Orochi, he created havoc everywhere. Then, he lifted his hands, creating a portal. Out of the portal, was 5 Demon Assassins.

You five, track down those humans that I just met. Slay them and report back here.

The Demon Assassins grunted and started going towards the fugitives, Lu Xun, Artirtico, and MysticBlaze. What he saw back there, they were willing to fight. They were ready to take him on not caring about death or their own lives for that matter.

Hmph, so they have some courage after all. Hah, it shall be shattered, once they face me again.

He began marching towards Taira again and Destruction everywhere became common.

Okay! Time to get starting

Sleva glansed at the morning sun, it was roaring high over the black hills in the horizon. The flowers were still in bloom, but they looked pale and dark. He looked down at Yoshimoto and smiled. Though he knew that this peacefullness wouldn't last for long.

"Hmm! Is something wrong?"

Yoshimoto said. Sleva led his eyes to his feet, as he did so the hair fell infront of his eyes.

"We shall all fade into nothingness one day..."

He looked down on Yoshimoto again.

"Orochi is smarter then you think... even though he's gone, his plans of chaos still percist. Do you not see? The other warlords are soon waging war against one another, and soon they will all clash. Blood will be spelt, blood of the mightiest warriors. Random battle emiting throughout the land... they fight, so that they can see whom is the most powerfull. In the world I created..."

Sleva stopped. He smiled down at Yoshimoto once again. Even so, Yoshimoto could not fail to recognise the tears in his eyes. They were not tears of joy.

"Slev..."

"You will be one of the first which the stronger clans wishes to eliminate... the reason is their ignorance, which makes them blind. Other grand commanders, Zhang Jiao, Yuan Shao, will also fall before the might of the Three kingdoms and the oda... We do not stand a chance on our own..."

"Do you prupose that we wage war?"

Yoshimoto asked as he rised up from his bed of blossoms, he pushed the petals away from his cape and stood up.

"No... During this war, the people is sure to revolt, we must gain the trust of the people and quickly prevent the rebellion which is sure to happen..."

Not a single other word was said. Yoshimoto nodded his head and looked to the sun. It was indeed shining brightly today, as if something new and powerfull was being borned. Sleva held around his celestial brush, it was time to unite the land which he had created, turn everything back the way it was. But to do that, he needed to unleash the power of the brush once more. He shall vanquish the chaos.

That Wind God run so fast. No wonder he was called Wind God.

It's better than if we have to face him again. We don't have any strength left.

It's not like that. I want to told him that Mister-scary-demonic-guy have just run away after hearing my cunning words! Tee-hee

Artirtico

"Well...there's no point continuing on at our current heading. There's nothing in that direction for miles, but I certainly don't think we should head back towards Koshi castle. Hmm...I think heading along the hillside may be the best option. There are some smaller villages not too far away in that direction, which for now may be our best bet."

Okay. But, don't you think we should look for a new friend? Hey, don't you want to find Zhao Yun or Zhang Liao. If we're lucky, they might be there.

Okay, let's go

So now, the three continued their journey

While the soldiers of Wei dined that evening, a frightened looking messenger entered the room. He bowed to the forces and then said "Lord Cao Pi, Lady Zhen Ji, there is somebody who wishes to see you outside"
"Who would dare to disturb my lord and I now?" Zhen Ji asked.
"I am sorry, but they did not say" the messenger said, looking terrified.
Cao Pi rose from his chair. "Come Zhen Ji, we will see what unworthy soul wishes our services now"
They both left the room, lead outside by the messenger. They were gone seemingly forever, by the time all the others had finished dining, they had not returned. As Bg made her way to her quarters, hoping to get her weapons and fit in some training she caught sight of who she assumed was Cao Pi. He and Zhen Ji were standing behind a supply tent talking in hushed tones to their visitor. She leaned closer but could see very little of who they were talking too. She could see nothing of the visitor except that he was a hooded male.
She tried to focus on drowning out the other noises and picking up some of what was being said.
"I fail to see why i should help you." she heard Cao Pi say.
"It is in your best interest. You will reap the benefits, many benefits." Said the visitor in a strange, almost unearthly voice.
"I may consider it" Cao pi said stubbornly.
" You should. I hope you take up my offer. Remember, Edo Castle."




The next morning, Still deciding on a course of action, the men and women of Wei gathered once again to come up with a strategy for the current situation. Cao Pi mentioned nothing of their mysterious visitor last night and when asked they gave vague replies, most of which seemed wholly untrue given what BG had over heard.
"A peasant soldier" Cao Pi had said " Offering Support of his rabble of soldiers to Wei"
Infact, he was behaving strangely for the whole time. Cao Cao had come up with numerous suggestions which Cao Pi had rejected, always coming up with reasons they would lead nowhere.
"Were do you suggest then, seeing as you agree with nothing?" Bg asked Cao Pi. She realised it may not have been her place, but she was becoming irritated by this constant circling around the issue.
"Edo Castle" Cao Pi said quickly and sharply, without hesitation, as if the answer was preplanned.
"Edo Castle?" Cao Cao asked.
"Trust me, father, Edo Castle is the place to go, the place to track down those men who appeared after Orochi's defeat, I am certain we will find at least one of them there."
He was almost too certain, and BG eyed him with suspicion. This must be linked to what was happening last night, she had heard the conversation about 'reaping benefits' at Edo castle, and she grew worried that Cao pi may be up to something. Why was he so keen to lead the forces to Edo Castle? And who had put the idea into his head?
Cao Cao was somehow convinced, perhaps only as he was devoid of Idea's himself. "Very well. We ride to Edo in one Hour"

By dusk that day, the forces were on route to Edo castle, but BG had a feeling things still weren't right. Cao Pi and Cao were riding up ahead, but Zhen Ji rode alongside her.
"Who was that visitor last Night, my Lady ?" Bg asked, hoping her question would not cause anger.
"A simple peasant. He offered some poor soldiers and some information."
"Information about Edo castle?" Bg automatically said, but instantly regretted. What if she gave away that she had overhead!?
Zhen Ji narrowed her eyes with suspicion, but in them there was a trace of guilt. " They simply mentioned some townsfolk had heard of strange activity there."
The generals continued the journey to Edo Castle , but as they neared, BG felt more and more like something was not right...
