Orga changed his name to Syn, for reasons unknown.

Syn is more better name. So, farewell, Orga. Now, you warriors, you can all call me Syn. Cardinal Syn. Hahahaha!!

But, Syn suited him more better. Now, to the fight. With the swords encircling him, no one could get close to him, but at the same time, he was also protected and can attack freely and at will. He advanced towards the newly revived Lu Xun.

The fabric of friendship, is broken ever so easily. One tear, and it's all over. Hmhmhmhahaha!!

He flash-teleported behind Mystic. He placed his sword on her neck.

You are still too weak. You rely too much on this master of yours. You may have "revived" him, but in this world, one should not rely on others, for help.

You are in no place to talk about Lu Xun that way!

Mystic attempted to strike him, but he teleported again, this time, near Lu Xun. He held his sword to his torso.

Give it up, kunoichi, your efforts are futile against me.

Don't listen to him, Mystic! Together, we can defeat him!

Syn got angry and then stomped on him.

Quiet, insolent fool.

Mystic saw the pain that was being inflicted on her lord and then quickly dashed to him. He saw this coming and dodged the strikes, with rapid speed.

Your skill is good, but not good enough! Dark Impulse!

Syn punched the ground, and created a dark shockwave, that blew Mystic away.

Now for you, Taoist.

He ran up to Spear Master and then drew his scythe. He attempted to cleave him, but Spear Master managed to duck and then he moved away.

Are you relying on that dragon of yours, for help? Hah, you should rely on yourself, not your pets that do your bidding!

He went to the 5-Element Dragons.

5 combined dragons, huh? You might have reign over the elements and perhaps, death, but you are merely a puppet, on strings, doing it's bidding, for it's master. Dark Arts, Immunization Deadlock!

He put his hands toward the dragon and then a ring of light appeared below the dragon. Then, a tower of light appeared and immunized the dragon, in it's place!

Now, Taoist, without your dragon, what will you do? Venom, Viper, attack Mystic and Lu Xun!

The 4, Syn, Singe, Viper, and Venom started to attack them again.

5Rings


So many things have happened today, i thought, making a last sweep of the battlefield with my heightened sense of sight, making sure that the only things moving were our troops and not demons. Syn, as he was now called, was still in hiding on the battlefield, waiting.

"The battlefield looks clear Lord Artirtico, but Musashi, please double check me." i said, looking over at my green friend, reveling in my newfound comrade.

"It is indeed clear old friend," came the reply.
"Excellent" came Artirtico's voice, obviously comforted by it.

Minutes before we had been against Syn himself and he sure packed a punch. but personally, i thought, all that yelling of death was a bit overrated. Syn obviously thought that he had taken all of our troops into the "gates of Armageddon". I laughed. I was actually the only one here to represent MY army. the troops with me were actually families of peasants who had been secretly training in the sword and came to follow me. It was a loss however..... many innocents had perished because of one mans ruthlessness. HE WILL PAY!

And he did. Seeing all of the peasant soldiers go to their doom, me and musashi sprung into action. Our Halo's had glowed brightly when we interlocked with the god of death, with an even deadlier breath!! Four swords between the two of us, we covered eachother whenever Syn decided to teleport, which seemed to be his ace in the hole. Swords and the scythe becoming blurs, Syn was obviously having trouble fending off our constant attacks.

"So 'god of death'... whats wrong?" said musashi, his eyes burning even more from seeing the peasants die as well.

"Yeah man, why arent you Hell shocking us or whatever?" i asked again, knowing already that any of his dark attacks were lost on us because we were the complete opposite of them in our battle form.

"Do not mock me, you sorry excuses for warriors" said Syn, grunting and blocking our attacks.

"Sorry are we?" Musashi said, redoubling his attack, with some extra element power in it, enjoying the fight.

"We take that to offense!" i exclaimed, loving the challenge that Syn had presented to us.

Bout after bout it was clear that in our Battle form, together, Syn was no match for us. He eventually gave a smug remark like usual about our deaths, pushed us off him , and teleport-fled.

Battle cries could be heard as the remaining soldiers, and the other generals shouted in glee.

It was another good fight i thought...

Anyways, i whistled both my high shrill and low rumbling whistle one after the other, and Phoneix then my fifty came from a few hundred yards away, obviously happy to hear the whistles.

"I do remember the promise i made to each of you, so pack up and make camp, because tonight, we are having a lesson!"
i exclaimed, looking from happy face to happy face. I turned around and walked toward Musashi.

"Hey buddy" said Musashi as he came up to me after talking to Artirtico and all of his company. "Red always was your color..." he added, while slowly turning back to his human form.

"Never thought green was yours though" i replied. I too, changed back into my human form, glad of not being able to hear a soldier relieve himself from six hundred feet away.

"Surprised me too." came the answer as he put his swords away and smiled. "You have turned into a perfect fighter, man."

"You are pretty da*n good yourself Musashi." I said and then taking a step closer i whispered, "in fact, i want you to be my pupil, like my fifty, only you will be in private lessons since you are in a whole different ball park than them."

"You got it man, just name the time and place." he said, suddenly a lot more eccentric.

"I should also have you know that there will be three of us soon. actually i lied. yours wont be private. Masashige, one of my fifty, will be given the last lesson tonight. he then will be training with you."

"Is he annoying?" musashi said, taken aback by my statement.

"Nope. just as cold and just as fast a learner as you." i replied, letting a plan come to mind.

"Oh alright."


Musashi walked away and i almost jumped with glee. Three of us! and then very soon, i will have my wings. Oh how i love what Karma has given me.

Now what should i bring to the lesson......

Fools, these "Elemental Angels" do not know real power!

He started to say an incantation.

Into the shadows, into the never forever-ending darkness.

He gave an evil grin and then, he disappeared, into the darkness. At the camp, where 5Rings, Musashi, and Artirtico were, they were celebrating their victory, even though it was short lived.

We beat Syn, damn good this time, didn't we, Musashi? he said to him.

Yup, I think he's scared of us if he's fleeing! They both laughed. However, something amiss was happening.

Reports of killings were happening all over their camp, until only the 3 of them were left.

What's this?! So many bodies laid dead, here at our camp, but how?!

Then, a voice could be heard.

Today, the air shall be filled with blood. Never will you have a moment's rest.

Blood began to pour from the skies and the images of corpses went into their minds. 5Rings and Musashi were in agony.

Ugh! What's is this?! I...am..seeing the death of many of my friends! Their bodies lay on the ground, all covered with blood! Musashi let out a cry.

Don't give in, Musashi! This is just a mind trick from Syn! As courageous as his words were, he succumbed to the terror as well.

Now, see the peril of humanity!

Syn raised his hands and the whole camp they were in was enshrouded in darkness. After awhile, it cleared, but then, corpses of humans laid everywhere in the camp. The 3 were screaming in terror.

Hmhmhm, now, foresee your future!

He then sent them another image, an image of their deaths! Syn was now playing mindgames on the two and was enjoying every bit of their pain.

5Rings


The ruse worked!! i could here Syn laughing through my horrifically realistic screams. Immediately after me and musashi drove Syn back and i had talked to my fifty and got them off the premises, i talked to Musashi and Artirtico in private...

"He's gonna be coming back, with a stealth attack, and probly within a few minutes." i said, staring at the floor.

"Can you be sure of this?" questioned Lord Artirtico. Suddenly Musashi spoke up.

"I'm sure of it as well, i felt him raise up darkness, we have about six minutes."

"I concur Musashi. alright so the plan is simple. Me and Musashi are going to erect straw dummies so that the reported killings will be true. Syn will think that our entire camp was ambushed and that we are all alone. Lord Artirtico, i have sent my men away already but your men can be stationed well away and be brought in after they hear our screams. thats the signal. Syn is very pompous but also extremely critical. you have to make the screams sound real. He doesnt know what he's doing though. most if not all of his tricks is magic, which you are immune, and they are dark, which means that we are immune, but only in our battle form. when they attack and we get word, me and Musashi will transform immediately. we'll be too far away from Syn for him to notice. He will only here our screams."

I stared at both of them and slowly both of there mouths fell open. I laughed but they didnt do anything for about thirty seconds.

"I dont want to get on your bad side," said artirtico, obviously put off by my intuition.

"Ditto" agreed Musashi.

And now here we are, i thought, inwardly smiling. The plan went perfectly. It was too dark for the demons he sent to actually see the people, only to sense a person there to cut down. As i heard Artirtico and Musashi scream, i did feel a twinge of remorse. I listened to them and i hoped to everything in the universe that i would never have to hear them like that again. My muscles were tightening from the work i was putting on my vocal cords, and i knew Artirtico and Musashi couldnt scream for much longer. I sensed the darkness coming for a closer look at our screaming bodies.

I gave Artirtico and Musashi the hand signal to go fetile when i could almost smell Syn's breath on my neck. Immediately we all fell and started twitching, which promted Syn to chuckle. Then out of nowhere, fire arrows shone through the night and they all fell around Syn. None hit him though. He looked around, Dazed and confused, but then laughed uproariously when he saw that no harm was done to him.

"You think a silly arrow volley could take down a demon? they have such worthless aim." he said darkly.

I got up, much to his surprise, and faced him and smiled smugly.

"Syn, we have the best archers in this or any world, and we got two volleys worth. Now me... im tired of your attitude. attacking us thinking we're halfwits. really? we arent. Now go help your clone at Ji Province cuz i hear Zhao Yun and Zhang Liao are already there causing a commotion."

Even as i said that i knew Syn could feel his clone being cornered, but he didnt care apparently. oh well, time for plan B.

"Oh and another thing, our archers werent aiming for you... they were aiming for those" i said as i pointed to a line of makeshift gunpowder heading for a hundred barrels filled with the chemical.

Without further a do, i pushed him with my super strength into the middle of the barrels. moments later, the barrels exploded, and i could just make out a meteor of a demon flying through the air, screaming. He landed in a puddle, or what he thought was a puddle, but was actually oil. He got up and sneered.

"So the resistance might be a little smarter than the average bear.... hahahaha. So wheres your second volley Angel?" he said while spitting on the ground when he mentioned my name and smiling that stupid smile!

"here.... is your second volley, virum stultum" i said as another volley of fire arrows came toward him.

Every single one made a hit on his body. So a part from him being punctured in about two hundred places, he was about to feel his own hellfire. Again i heard him scream and he teleported away.

"Now give us a couple days will ya!? I cant keep coming up with plans like that. a couple days of rest thats all im askin." i hollered into the darkness, keenly aware he was still within hearing distance, if not seeing for his newly aquired flame.

"Very well Warriors... we shall meet again...." came his otherworldly voice, emphasized with pain.

After i was sure he was gone, i gave the signal for everyone to come out, returned to human form, and walked over to Lord Artirtico and Musashi, who also changed back.

"Well i at least got two days." i said, looking at them.

"How?" said Artirtico, simply.

"Easy one. Ol 5Rings here asked for something while in his battle form. and a Demon, agreed. Laws that bind this universe force the demon and the angel to honor the agreement." said Musashi, smiling like the devil himself.

"Musashi, i really need to find out how the hell you know so much!" i exclaimed, thanking all the gods that he was on my side.

"Maybe I'll tell you someday old friend." came the reply.

"In that case, you guys may rebuild and i have to do some things myself" said Artirtico. "I am glad you are my friends, 5Rings, and you too Musashi."

"Dont mention it," we replied simultanously.

Seeing how powerful the Elemental Angels were, he had to go to the Last Resort, taking the Trials of Doom within the Dark Dimension.

To be forced to take this, hah, impressive, Elemental Angels. You even forced myself to do this.

And so, he teleported to the Neatherrealm, which before the Dark Dimension. He then spoke to the divine being, that controls the dimension and all around it.

God of the Underworld, I ask to take the Trials of Doom.

The God of the Underworld, with much more power than he has, appeared before him.

No one ever takes this Trial, unless they are going after the Divine Elixir, which can kill you, if you can't handle it, the Two Legendary Weapons, and the Book of Armageddon, found within the bowels of the Dark Dimension. These Trials are intense and will test all your abilities, Syn. You are willing to take it?

Syn was reluctant to speak. But, after a few short moments, he spoke.

I'm not...but, it has to be done.

Very well, then.

The God of the Underworld opened the gates, and Syn has begun the Trials of Doom.

I will return to the mortal's world, soon and then, my wrath shall begin...

He walked in and saw flames and tortured souls everywhere...

My dragons had been destroyed by Spawn, perfect! They had served their purpose to distract Spawn long enough! Jumping over the 2 lesser demons, I used each side of my spear to impale them both and throw their now lifeless bodies to the ground. Now my allies and I were able to face Spawn and Singe directly. With Nagamasa and Kanetsugu fighting with me again my moral had increased significantly, even better, with such a determined warrior as Mystic and skilled tactician as Lu Xun, we could finally put an end to Spawn's tyranny!

The clones of Syn disappeared and Singe, disappeared as well. The barrier around them, disappeared and Spear Master, Mystic, Lu Xun, Ma Chao, and Kanetsugu were all confused.

What? Where's Syn and Singe? Where did they just go? Spear Master replied.

It seems like they...vanished into the air? Lu Xun said, to Spear Master.

Yay! We won! Take that Syn! Woo-hoo! Mystic jumped up and down, with glee.

Don't get too overconfident, kunoichi, that demon still could be around. After all, he has powers no one else has. Kanetsugu said, with a caution.

Ma Chao agreed.That's right. The demon still could be around here. It's best to keep our guard up. He has not been defeated, as of yet.

With that, the 5 of them went back to the Oda camp. The actual Syn needed all of his energy to under-go the Trials of Doom and controlling the clones take energy. So, he made the clones to vanish in the air. Singe knew this and vanished, as well, since he could not take all 5 of them, by himself.

It seemed we were able to fend off the demons, for the time being. At that point, my main concern was to search for my old ally, 5rings, whom I had to leave to help Ma Chao. Nagamasa & Kanetsugu would also join me in this journey, but would Mystic & Lu Xun...?

"Ouch... Outnumbered... and these guys aren't half bad..." Singe said. "Looks like I can only take out one at a time..."

With that Singe used his speed to suddenly appear infront of Lu Xun and smack him right in the gut. He went for another strike but Mystic saved him just in time. Stuck in a stalemate the two warriors stared at eachother. Singe was quickly overpowering her.

"Lord Lu Xun! Run! I don't know why but hes going after you! RUN LORD LU XUN!"

"Mystic I won't leave you! I'll be ok..."

"NO LU XUN RUN PLEASE!!!!"
After a moment Lu Xun sighed.

"Ok Mystic... Make sure you come out alive." With that Lu Xun began to sprint away.

"Snap goes the trap..." Singe said quietly to Mystic.

"What?" She asked questionly.

"Hey Orga or whatever I'm supposed to call you... I'll be taking my leave now."

"You'd think that wouldn't you!" Spear said. Suddenly charging at Singe.

Singe looked at him and smiled as just as his weapon came down. Singe had dissapeared with the wind.

"Damn..." Spear said.

"Atleast Lord Lu Xun is ok..." Mystic said turning back to where Lu Xun was.

To her horror a sudden tornado began to appear around Lu Xun.

"NOOOOO!!!!" Mystic cried sprinting towards the tornado.

"Holy crap where'd that come from..." Spear said.

"Its... him..." Kanetsugu replied.

Mystic reached the tornado and was about to strike at it when it suddenly died down. And a figure stood where the eye of the storm was.

"Lord Lu Xun?" Mystic asked.

"Two down...." It was Singe again. Mystic stared in awe. "Four to go." With that Singe dissapeared once again.

"LORD LU XUN!!!"

"I.... i can't sense Syn anymore...." i said, looking horribly worried.

"Pfft, he must have gone far away to stay away from us!" Musashi said triumphantly.

"No.... Its different. like, he just vanished off the face of the earth.... its weird." i replied, not being able to figure it.

Musashi and i had just finished our first lesson and were now sitting for some refreshments. Musashi was a wonderful pupil and i honestly had to force myself to be the teacher and not a best friend. he needed instruction, not insubordination from his teacher. But it was a good lesson. I taught him how to further manipulate things around him and by the end of the night, he could manipulate and control all of the elements at once, without straining himself. Controlling both steel and fire took some practice, but within a couple hours, he had made his own unbreakable swords.

With an added twist however, he added in a hue of green, so that when he turned to battle form, his swords were the color of his skin and thus part of his uniform, so to speak. I thought this as a great idea and immediately followed suit, mkaing my blades that of a dark red.

Hours and hours before, i had called masashige into my private tent and sat him down.

"Do you remember how i looked at this last battle, masashige-san?" i asked, without anger

"Yes Sire" came the quick reply, "it was most beautiful my Lord."

"Do you also remember that you are the quickest learner in my entire regimen of this art?" i asked again, this time totally serious.

he answered after a long pause. "Yes Sire, although i am no better than my brothers in arms."

"Well of course you arent. not anymore. Masashige-san, tonight is your last lesson, which is why it is a private one. you see, after tonight, your brothers in arms wont be My elite fifty.... it will be myself and Lord Musashi."

hearing this Masashige stood up, openly shocked at this statement. the oppurtunity to fight with Lord 5Rings Takinaka and Lord Musashi Miyamoto, whos feats were legendary until this last battle when they became absolutely epic! It was the best day of this soldier's life.

"Whatever you want my Lord, i will do for you," said Masashige, as he bowed to me.

"Good. in that case, let us begin..."

This last lesson was a hard one for Masashige, who was so used to the elements that were made to destroy, and help. he had never had to rechannel them to aid and heal. It took all of my nerves not to stop from jumping up and down and focus on helping him. i kept wondering what his color was going to be.

It had been two and a half hours of work, bleeding, and healing before Masashige had mastered it, again at break neck pace.

"Masashige, do it for me one more time." i said as i cut my side with a clean stroke from one of my hidden knives.

"Of course My lord," came the confident reply. Moments later i didnt feel any pain, checked under my armor and saw clean smooth skin.

"Excellent job Masashige, excellent. You, Masashige-noh-Chikitada-noh-Minowara, have mastered all of the elements!" i exclaimed and then jumped back to wait and watch.

Masashige's face from one of overflowing joy, to immense pain as his body started to tighten. He looked around with worry written on his face and then it began...

His hair was the first to change. It became elongated and turned a burnt orange/dark bronze color and i smiled immensly. So his color is to be bronze! His eyes looked all around and then went blank, only to change into silver ones, burning uncontrollably. His muscles became more defined, and larger. His dented armor was lost only to be replaced by Stark white armor. His skin turned darker and darker still until it was a nice even bronze. He looked up at me and smiled, halo ablaze

"Look out my lord... theres a new guy in town" said the newest member of the Elemental Angels, Masashige-noh-Chikitada-noh-Minowara!

Immediately i changed into my battle form and we looked upon eachother, two super warriors for the ages to remember.

"Lets make you some swords, Masashige-san!" i said, overflowing with joy.

"Yes.... My Lord," replied Masashige, grinning from ear to ear.
