Here is a thread to discuss your favorite soundtracks, from the DW/SW/WO universe. Just one thing, no soundtracks from WO2 or DW6 (Since DW6: Special is coming out and I don't want anything revealed about it.)

Anyone know where you can listen to them? I miss listening to some of the music in DW3. They had the best ones.

The music from the yellow turban rebellion from DW5 and Conquest of Ji Province in WO (and many other levels I believe) is my favourite track! I don't know it's name offhand...oh a format :

Yellow Turban Rebellion (and all yellow turban levels basically) - DW5
Conquest of Ji Province (and Ji Province I believe) - WO

In addition, although not a stage track - my favourite piece of music overall is the DW4 opening story - it's fabulous! and fits in time so nicely with the Wu officers swinging their weapons + the dragon, phoenix and tiger flying around etc Brilliant!

Unfortunately no - I don't know of a place where you can listen to them I would very much like to find somewhere like that too...

(I also love the 'important battle music' from Dynasty Tactics )

Ah, Ancient Heros. Not one of my favorites though. I think "Yellow Turban Storm" from DW3 was better.

That was just a remix of Lu Bu's theme, though.

I think you can go to Koei to listen to them, but unsure. I heard you have to sign-up to do so, which I don't like doing...

The DW3 Yellow Turban music was also great indeed - just not up to the DW5 track for me

Lu Bu's theme was a very good piece of music from DW3 so I was happy to see it improved even further for the opening The extra higher pitched bit added on at the end (when the tiger engulfs the boat) is the best bit of it though!

Argh, no I'm not keen on signing up for things like that...I guess I'll just have to have the PS2 going with the game options menu loaded and listen to them there

I too wanted to listen to the Koei soundtracks for ages, and I found them a few weeks ago!

Go on kongming.net and on the right is a panel with a load of links and one of them is Music (mp3) under a Games subtitle I tink. You can download them from there. Now I got 'em on my iPod, Exotic Traitors FTW!

(They only have DW music unfortunately...)

Awww,I love the WO soundtrack.


My favourtie is Samurai Scanners, which was on the Battle of Jian Ye in Wu's story in WO1.
I also love the music from the WO Gallery which is Limpid Luster, and the music from DW5Xl destiny mode, the screen were you create your warrior.

Spawn, most of those tracks are on the official soundtracks, and there's plenty of ways to get hold of songs from that, infact I have quite a few of the ones mentioned.

Yeah, I know, the link guang showed me, is awesome! Has every song ever played in DW! In fact, I'm downloading some of them now!

I think Soundtracks should be the next Hurt and Heal, what do you guys think?

Soundtrack hurt and heal might be a good idea now that you mention it.

What i like about the soundtrack is its quite different but mixes well. The Sw stuff is a little more dancey, while the DW stuff is more guitar based, it creates a very nice atmosphere together.

One of my favourite aspects of Warriors games is the music. I think a Hurt & Heal would be fun, but there are probably too many tracks to include them all

But quite frankly. I'm more a fan of original music. Game soundtracks doesn't really appeal to me. Jrock, Grunge, Punk, Fusion etc etc.
