Will a maxed out sun sword do? To defeat the dark genie?
Whats the quickest way, in your opinion (because so many faq's give so many different ways) to max out a weapon?
or to build it right up etc.

Maxxed Sun Sword isn't going to do much. Honestly, its going to take some time if you want a better weapon. In my case, I built up 3 or 4 weapons with different attributes and stuff, and synthed them to my main weapon of choice.

If you manage to build up the Sun's Sword, it'll go to the Sword of Zeus, which is the weakest of all the max swords. You're going to want to go a different route. Try building up a Sax or a Wise Owl sword to get a Chronicle. It's the strongest of all the swords (aside from the Chronicle 2).

There is a second Chronicle sword??? Hoe do you get it???

The only way to get the Chronicle II Sword is to beat the Dark Genie and complete the Demon Shaft, an area opened by beating the genie. At the top of the Demon Shaft (after 100 floors) you will fight the Black Knight and Pendragon (I think that's its name). The Chronicle II is your reward for their defeat.

Thanks for that. Do you suggest I buy a wise owl sword, synthise the sun sword, add it to the wise owl sword, and continue to build up the wise owl?

Sweet, I knew the fourth ultima weapon was up there but I didn't know it was another Chronicle Sword...

Okay somebody suggested that I build up a Wise Owl Sword into a chronicle sword - which i am in the process of doing - to beat the dark genie.

However i already have a 7 branch sword which i aquired in a dungeon.

I noticed in a weapon FAQ that a quicker path to a chronicle sword is building a 7 branch sword into a Atlamilla Sword, and then building that up to a Chronicle Sword.

Do you suggest I synthese my wise owl sword, add it to the 7 branch sword, and continue to build that up instead?

And to build up a weapon do you have to build up all the anti's as well? If so, GOSH this is going to take a LONG LONG time to build up my weapons.

Can somebody just give me advice on the quickest way to build up my weapons to beat the dark genie?

Sun's Sword is lame. Synth it to the Wise Owl Sword. Its easier to progress with that than it is with the Seven Branch sword.

But by building up the Sun Sword you can make one of the 4 strongest swords in the game, too bad it is the weakest of them though...

It'll do jack to the Dark Genie compared to a relatively strong Chronicle sword.

But it is something to do in your spare time...

The original purpose of the thread was not to take up time, but to inquire about a good weapon to fight the Dark Genie with, yes? He wanted to know the quickest way to the Chronicle. I told him.
