how do i make the killer snake come over tryed walkthrough and they say press [] when near gate but nothing happens somebody plz help

You can't beat the snake without the Serpent Sword. I believe you get the sword when you compete the georama in the village. One of the people in the village will give you the sword after you complete the towns rebuilding(sorry it's been so long I can't remember who). Just keep building until you get 100% and I think it happens automatically. Good Luck!

You need to attach all the river pieces together so that the water can flow to the large dried up tree which can be found at the bottom section of the village, on the left side (at least from looking at my screen) then you should have found the hunters earings somewhere during the previous levels of the forest.

Once you've got that, go talk to the large tree and he will give you the Serpants sword. Then you can go into the 9th level and defeat the killer snake.

I don't think that's what he meant...
